I bought a backpack upgrade, twice actually, from the black market and my storage level is still 12. Pisses me off, my friends bought them as well but there's went up. Agh.

"We will have other, non-season pass related DLC,” continued Pitchford. "The additional character (Mechromancer) is one kind of example. The Borderlands 2 team is fired up at the moment. Customer love for the game is driving us wild - making us want to do more and more stuff.
"So, expect that there will be even more beyond the big Campaign DLC in the Season Pass and the additional character. We'll announce more stuff as soon as we are able to be confident in the commitment of the details we share."

IMHO, this is just another reason to wait on the Pass until there's a sale on it or entirely and wait for one of the 17 weekly deals on BL2 content.
Clearly, I'm not a fan of this.

Gears of War 3 had all kinds of weapon & character skins DLC that wasn't part of the season pass.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
Pretty sure that no game has ever had a Season Pass that was guaranteed to cover all of the DLC a title may or may not eventually have to offer. It ended up that way with Gears of War 3, but we didn't know it for sure beforehand (I'm not counting weapon skins). Saints Row 3 had additional DLC not covered by the pass.
I agree, though, that there's absolutely no incentive to buy it at this point. At least Gears tempted us with the carrot of immediate access to one exclusive weapon skin.

Fair enough, but was there any functional DLC that wasn't included? Character classes are not in the same league as skins, to me that is. Nor are new classes as "essential" as campaign DLC, but they're certainly more desirable to those that would pay up-front for a DLC bundle.

If they make the DLC as big as Knoxx, I hope they sprinkle some fast travel spots throughout. Driving all the way to Fort Knoxx took a long time.

That said, I am LOVING this game, great improvements from 1, and it's horribly addicting...

I will not buy the season pass....because when the second dlc comes out they will probably run the first at half price...eating away the "savings" you get for the season pass.
I have plenty to play for a while....since I will have already moved on to another game by the time the fist dlc comes out, I will not have the "bug" still to keep playing.
I don't like supporting this sort of behavior by companies, but strangely enough if they offered a few gold keys on top of the season pass, I might jump on it...

also I take back what I said about Salvador...once you put a few more points in skills he is a true tank. He has one skill that when he gets a kill while berserking his accuracy jumps 30%...this makes shotguns hit like sniper rifles..
He also has skills that let him change weapons quickly...and another that reloads all weapons he currently does not have equipped...so you shoot your shotguns, quickly change weapons...shoot again...and change back...skipping reloads and getting damage bonuses on top of that...

I think I saw Salvador once this entire weekend in a multiplayer game. Tons of everyone else, but no one is playing that dude.

For those upset about using your Gold Keys... if you do a Google search, there is a cheat to get unlimited Gold Keys. I'm pissed and didn't d/l my Amazon code until after I started up my character -- so I have no key. I'm no advocate of cheating, but this one seems pretty harmless and I might do it once to get the loot I deserve.
And that said, I'm not trying to start a debate about "what is cheating" and all that shit... I just threw it out there.

^^ Nope, Xbox and PS3. You basically create new characters and, while at a gold box, you pause, bring in the new character via another controller and have them open the box... then you switch back to your main character and grab the items. I might be wrong on the logistics there -- but that is the premise and I don't know why it works.

Too bad we can't redeem the key codes on the shift website yet. I have a feeling these will be long gone by the time I get home tonight.

I've got Maya and Salvador at about the same location...Level 12 and finished the "Hunting for Firehawk". He's pretty fun and good especially in crowded situations. You put him in Dual Weld with Axton (which me and a friend do)...it's pure mayhem. A far cry from Maya who I like with her Phaselock ability in coop. He does pack a punch in melee. His skill tree is not flashy compared to the others but hey...he's a Tank so what do you expect.

I'm skipping on this "multiply, duplicate, endless, unlimited any and everything" this time around. I did it awhile in the first game and while it provides a "Wow Fator" at first, it gets old, slightly boring and changes the aspect of the game. Actually plan on spending a few "Billions" and using "Millions" of guns? I thought so the first time around but didn't even make a dent in it....the money, guns, extras. Nothing more than a Pack Rat. It actually feels good to scrap for money and open boxes let alone die once-in-a-while
