Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

I have an extra Premiere Club pre-order bonus from Best Buy, first regular to PM can have it (not much benefit to those that have already started the game, but includes the Mechromancer class when it is released)

foxdvd got it..

I actually remembered that just after I posted it, then I thought I should give you dibs, but I already had five responses...

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

FYI, if any of you preordred from Best Buy and did not get the bonus, either go back to the store or call. The store manager that I spoke with knew of the issue and was able to send me a code within 10 minutes. (I did this after not receiving my bonus and then the next day I ended up getting it, hence the extra one)

They told me last night that they were out of codes and I was on a 'waiting list', which I doubt.

I sent him the code..I already had one, so this was going to be for a friend, but sounds like if you had remembered the diablo gift you would have given it to him in the first place...

I must be blind. Where do you see how much time you've played? I'm on the 360 version. I looked everywhere and can't find it.

Thank you so much!

FoxDVD, you are a great guy. That was very generous of you!

how do i redeem it?

I got to thinking -- using the "hey i gave you a d3 guest pass" strategy may work against me. Lots of folks really are angry at Blizzard

On the menu screen, where you select your game save, they show the elapsed time played.

No clue. It was a rare drop. When he told me about it wanted to drive to his house to punch him. Unfortunately right now, he can't use it since those skills are further down the tree in both, but eventually it's going to be a ridiculous mod.

Anyway, it may clear itself up next time I load the game, but was just curious if anyone had a problem with that one or if I was just completely missing something.
One of them is on a pipeline. Thing is you can't to it unless you drop down to it from a cliff. There is also a gun chest on there next to it, so look for that.

They should have just put the stinking codes in the first batch of copies shipped out to the store.

Thanks, that was the second one I was looking for. I figured it might be up there, but I couldn't see how to get above it. So instead I went to shooting rocks thrown at me by bonerfarts.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

question about absorption shields...it says that I have a 17% chance to absorb enemy bullets and then put them in my backpack. Sounds like a great idea to get around the ammo problem...uh...does anyone know how this works? I have used the shield for over an hour and it does not seem to add any bullets to my weapons...I have stood and watched as I am shredded...nothing...I checked my backpack..nothing...anyone know?

I continue to hate how they don't really do a good job explaining what some things do, or even give true stats...case in point.

I had a shield that gave 650 points...I found another shield that had 600...but it did have something like (reduces damage from explosions)..ok sounds good...but how much does it reduce damage?

So I tested it on the slot machines...old shield with 650 points...point blank grenade dropped me 500 points...new shield with the reduced damage from explosions....dropped me 500 points...????

My main coop charater is May but started Salvador lmid yesterday just to see. Got him to Level 7....thanks "Stiffy Goat 11" for the help by the way. He's not that bad at all. The Dual Weld is fun and found by dazing some with a few shots and just smacking (melee) I didn't have a problem. I'll keep him for now and in case someone wants to start another character or has one in the 5-10 range. Pairing him with Axton would seem to be a two-man wrecking crew

watch your shield. you'll see a bullet pop up next to it. when it does, it means your shield absorbed the shot and it adds it to your ammo pile. unfortunately, if you think this is going to fill up your ammo quickly, it is not.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

some of these quests are really long.
what happens if you save and quit in the middle? does it save your progress?

just wait until you get the side mission one with the war between the 2 families. there are like 9 sub quests in it and you are running/transporting all over the place. it was a fun one to play, though.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

so far my biggest gripe, but this is with a lot of games like this, is where you miss side quests for whatever reason and get them later. you are then much higher than the level of the mission and it's not difficult to blast through and accomplish the goal.

Yeah, if you want to do all of the side quests, or even a good number of them, you'll always be much higher level than all of the quests. Really annoying. I would of preferred if they just made it take more XP to level.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

Question on the early Bad Hair Day quest....you've got to get (4) but I'm only able to retrieve (2). I go eaxtly where the markers are...the one over where he electrical fence is and the other the first one of the three....and nothing is poping up after I kill everything. The other two...one closet to the water nd on the back of the cave they did pop up. What gives?

Never mind
