Question on the early Bad Hair Day quest....you've got to get (4) but I'm only able to retrieve (2). I go eaxtly where the markers are...the one over where he electrical fence is and the other the first one of the three....and nothing is poping up after I kill everything. The other two...one closet to the water nd on the back of the cave they did pop up. What gives?

I wish this what was happening for me, but unfortunately I'm experiencing kind of the opposite. I'm currently Level 20. A large majority of the side quests I got from the Sanctuary characters are listed as Level 15-18 in their descriptions, but when I go to designated spots where the missions take place, the enemies are all level 21/22. I'm consistently getting my ass handed to me. The Caustic Caverns mission(s) were especially tough. The Badass variety of those giant mosquito things are a f'ing nightmare when they're 2 levels higher than you.

As for those mosquitoes, the turret with missiles is a god send with those. I chuck it out, my buddy will phase lock one and it just completely annihilates it. Rinse repeat.
I honestly think the Siren/Commando is the best 2 player combo. Both are fairly ranged and both action skills provide enough mayhem going on that enemies will focus on that and not you.

It was said earlier in this thread, elements play a much bigger role in this game...most of us think to have one of each type of element as a weapon ready to go, but it really helps to also have one of each type of shield against elements as well...
My friend got a shield that changes its resistances to the last elemental attack he received....really cool actually.

Here I am, like 20 hours in, and I just now noticed a bad guy run up to a gun that was laying on the ground, pick it up, and then attack me with it.

I've had some of the same frustrations. The save points in the game just seem to be checkpoints; if you save and quit then you start way further back. It was a headache for me since I kept getting lost during the hunting for firehawk mission and wandering aimlessly forever. Still, the game is viciously addictive, and except for a 90 minute bike ride it has pretty much soaked up my Saturday.

I hope they fix that in a future patch cause it makes the difficulty seem cheap.

Last game my main character was the sniper, so I decided to go the same route this time. Too bad I really don't like my action skill, or I'm not good at getting the best use of it. I'm level 12, so I will continue to see if I learn something new.

i feel like a moron. However i am so unbelievably frustrated right now with this game. I am just on one of the beginning missions and i can't figure out how to get to a damn marker. i got to where i thought it was and i am standing right on top of the marker according to the map but i don't see anything. it is the mission trying to find that colonel guy right after you get access to your vehicle. i may have to co-op with someone just to show me where to go. I am fuming out of my ears right now. i don't have alot of game time and i have wasted 45 minutes just trying to figure out where this place is.

I'm playing the assassin also. One good trick I found with his action skill is, get a good grenade, rush into a bunch of enemies and then disappear with your skill. All the enemies will group around the decoy, so just take a few steps back and lob the grenade into the group. BOOM! That usually nets you multiples kills and/or doing significant damage to a good number of enemies.

so far I have Axton to level 21....Maya to level 15...and Salvador to level 11..
By far, it seems Axton has been the easiest time. His special ability is amazing...Maya is second, and Salvador seems the weakest...maybe I need to mess around with my skills...

Gearbox Gunning for More Borderlands 2 Classes
Gearbox has revealed potential post-release DLC plans for Borderlands 2, in addition to the add-ons already outlined.
As previously revealed Borderlands 2 will be getting a suite of four DLC packs (available as part of the Season Pass), as well as the Mechromancer class add-on. But according to Gearbox president Randy Pitchford there might be more.
In a recent Q&A Pitchford said, "We created the ability in Borderlands 2 to add additional characters because we want to use that ability.
"The Mechromancer is the first one. I hope to do more. The success of the Mechromancer will help to define this. Our ambition and passion and our fans requests will also contribute to decision making about what we do.
Referring to the game’s add-ons Pitchford said, "The stuff we're planning and working on for the Campaign DLC Season Pass is big DLC stuff - more like Knoxx." The Secret Armory of General Knoxx was the original Borderlands’ largest add-on.
"We're extremely far along with the first campaign DLC. The second DLC is also in amazing shape. The third DLC is a little farther out and the fourth DLC is just in the pre-concept stages.
"We will have other, non-season pass related DLC,” continued Pitchford. "The additional character (Mechromancer) is one kind of example. The Borderlands 2 team is fired up at the moment. Customer love for the game is driving us wild - making us want to do more and more stuff.
"So, expect that there will be even more beyond the big Campaign DLC in the Season Pass and the additional character. We'll announce more stuff as soon as we are able to be confident in the commitment of the details we share."
Over the weekend, Pitchford hinted at possible directions for the game’s first DLC. Speaking during a Borderlands 2 panel at Gearbox ‘s Software Community Day he made reference to Star War-inspired vehicles.
"I've always wanted to ride a sail barge and drive a sand skiff," said Pitchford. "I've always wanted to do that, and we've got some cool stuff that's along those lines."

Considering how I wasn't in love with the first game I am shocked at how much I am enjoying this one. I wanted a bit of time to level and get used to the game but I think I am more than ready to hop online the next time I play.

Pro: Playing as a Commando I found a sniper rifle that has been a godsend. I can pickoff guys from a good distance and then run in with the turret and clean things up.
Con: I too experienced the "start over at the begining of a level" BS. Saving Roland was hard enough -- but especially after having to do it twice in one day!

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
I thought the first Borderlands was incredible. My very early impressions of Borderlands 2 was that it started out way too slow, with only a handful of quests available and not much loot to be found...
With that being said, it kicks all sorts of ass now. Once you reach a certain point in the story, there are side quests galore. The weapons are better. Enemies. Characters. Innuendos. Everything. I love that all the characters from the first game are in it. Considering the incredible hype and expectations this game had, Gearbox definitely didn't disappoint.
Like flashburn mentioned, if you leave the loot on the ground too long, and enemies are still alive, they will run and grab it. I killed one enemy, saw very clearly he dropped a blue item, but another guy immediately ran up and snagged it. I then killed the second enemy but he didn't drop any blue items. That totally sucked, but was awesome all at the same time.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
LOL! I read a lot here about being cautious in Sanctuary about not using your key by accident, and lo and behold, I fast traveled and saw the big box, cool, let's see what's inside, Wow! an $800 weapon!!! and then just I realized that I had used my key.
Anyway, I'm now in that big/long mission when you have to rescue "someone". Yesterday in the afternoon I had to stop just before reaching the end point of a place... so 30 minutes or so were "lost", I had to play again last night through all of that.
