If they can phaseshift, it stands to reason they can be phaselocked, no? I haven't had any real problems as my solo siren so far (up through Firehawk) but I do go kind of slow through the areas, picking them off from afar. I did get the goliath achievement last night, that was kind of fun.

i may need to start over and do the Commando class. I am currently playing the Assassin class since I didn't play that type of character in the first game. However I am struggling at the beginning so I probably will need those turrets

I just did that quest where you kill the assassins last night. Did you get something special if you killed them with the proper weapons? I was playing solo, and just plowed through them with the same gun.

There are challenges for completing optional mission objectives, which means more Badass tokens, but I don't think they change the actual quest reward.

Literally got the turret as I was fighting Boom Boom and Bewm. I killed Bewm and earned Level 5... it was a relief to have the turret as it took out the spawning psycho's and I could concentrate on Boom.

Oh cool. That's the one problem with playing mostly co-op, it can be hard to pay attention to what is going on in the missions, I never even noticed that before.

I finished off the "Hurly Burly" challenges last night by parking a vehicle across from a lone slinger, hopping into the turret, and just holding down the trigger over his head. 15 minutes later, I had tons of badass points and a few new tokens.

You can also earn a bunch at once by trading repeatedly with a friend. You don't even have to actually trade anything.

Is there a different "Bank" than Claptrap's? I put 4 items into it from my solo character that my co-op character and partners might enjoy. Then I bought a "Bank" upgrade from the black market, but it stayed at 4. I didn't go check, but I'm guessing I just upgraded the useless safe.

The safe in the hideout is your character storage area and I'm pretty sure that's the bank you can upgrade. Claptrap's stash is to switch items between characters.

FWIW, the safe isn't completely useless. I've found a couple of class mods that give +2 to a certain skill on the skill tree, but I can't use it yet because they are further down in a specific tree. Worth keeping if I was going to do that specific tree.

My asshole friend found a class mod for his Siren that is +3 in one skill and +2 in another. That's a badass mod.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

Yeah, that just upgrades the safe.

I maxed out my backpack at 27 slots, at least for the first playthrough. I feel like I could easily use twice that.

I understand the difference between the two banks, but Claptrap's is the only one that's useful. Is there no way to upgrade it?

Wow, that's lame.

I went primarily with the backpack upgrades so far, I'm always so low on ammo it doesn't feel that necessary for me to purchase those upgrades.

That's really too bad. Switching rare items between characters is far more exciting that saving things you'll never use anyway.

Question on a Mission...

Cannot remember what name this is but it's close to Sanctuary....same place where you do the Dr Mercy Mission It's the one that in the middle of the cave there is a large electrical "Reactor" that after you kill Dr. Mercy, you get some special gun and have to kill (25) bandits. You're suppose to do something inside or at the top of the Reactor or at least the icon on the map shows that. We reloaded that mission five times last night because we're sure it's glitch and we cannot find or get to anything. Nothing is showing up. We gave up and did some other side missions before calling it a night.

Well, if you buy the upgrades and stock up on ammo before heading out, then you won't be as likely to run low, right?

It would be a bit more convenient if his bank was bigger, but I don't see what the big deal is. When you are ready to give another character some items, put them in Claptrap's bank, and then take them out of that bank with your other character.

It's not a huge deal, it's just a minor gripe. I'm not playing my co-op character right now due to one of our group being out of town. Sure, I could load that guy up and move stuff, but that takes away from my solo character's time!

Weird, I did this one last night, and I got it once I killed the 25 bandits and then just turned it in.

The circle is there because that's where the game is telling you the bandits are. I ended up leaving that area and going elsewhere to find more bandits as none were spawning there.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

Speaking of problems with a mission, there's this one near Sanctuary were you go kill this dude named Rolf or Roll or something with some pet skags. Killing him you find an echo device that talks about 3 other echo drop-points, but there's nothing in at least 2 of the 3 places. The nearest is under that beached ship you can climb into, but there's nothing there or under it. I even shot the anchor off.

Anyway, it may clear itself up next time I load the game, but was just curious if anyone had a problem with that one or if I was just completely missing something.

maybe a glitch, because I remember getting one of them off the anchor you shoot off..

also, I was tipping moxi to get that achievement...well I must have already had it and forgot, so she ended up giving me an amazing smg with corrosive damage...my guess is it cost 20,000 to get, but worth it..
