It ends with a galactic orgy, doesn't it?

Man creates Reapers. Man fights Reapers. Man and Reapers come to truce with Reapers in exile. Man sends representative to neutral space station every year for 40 years; no Reaper delegate arrives. Until this year, this year Reapers destroy neutral station with human representative on it. Coordinates mass defense infiltration while launching simultaneous attacks on all human worlds. Rag-tag fleet assembles led by Shepard who was set to retire. Human fleet on the run across the galaxy from Reapers in search of fabled homeworld - The Citadel.

So say we all.

Lemme guess. A static shot with some text summarizing what happened to everyone in the galaxy.

Uhg, no. I love the original series (despite how cheesy it could be) but the revival show was a complete bore.

Given some fans want to boycott the live action movie if they make Shepard a male, maybe that's a smart move.

I played the first two as a woman, and will be playing the third as a woman. She's a lady, damn it.

No, actual cut scenes have been uploaded.

Re: Mass Effect 3

I read some of the spoilers but didn't watch any cutscenes. I guess it all depends on how it plays out, not to mention how many alternate versions there may or may not be, but what I read sounded interesting and not necessarily bad. Then again, I'm a fan of

unhappy endings.
Spoiler:
Not like that, you pervert.

I played it as a man. I like to play these games as if it's me in the role of the main character (and base my decisions on my gut reactions, as if I were really faced with the situations presented). Couldn't do that as a woman, despite my love of the voice work of Jennifer Hale.

I always play games as if I'm taking on the role of the main character, but it's still playing a part. I almost always choose women in RPG's.

Re: Mass Effect 3

Why not play twice? There's enough variation in these games to keep it interesting for a second time. I always play through as male paragon first, followed by female renegade (love Hale's sarcastic and hateful line readings!). They're very different experiences, and I wouldn't want to miss any of it.

Speaking of Renegade Shep, I wonder how soon before we get "Shepard Is A Jerk 3".

Me too, but my main reason is that the female Shepard voice actor trounces the male Shepard actor.

I never had issues with Mark Meer's performance. However, I hated how Bioware edited together his conversations in such an awkward manner. Looking up some videos of Fem Shep, I saw they did the same to Jennifer Hale. Shame since she's so darned talented.

I get that it's hard given the dialogue options but I feel the lines could have been written to segue more smooothly. They did improve that quite a bit in ME2 but it was still present.

No shit. I'm going to buy it from Target and take my Amazon copy back there just so I can be playing it at 8 am instead of whenever the hell it shows up from Amazon.
