Meh. Don't like it? Don't buy it. If you starve publishers of your money, they'll change tactics. If you keep purchasing every poster, statue, keyboard, and keychain just for a dlc unlock, they'll keep selling them that way.

Besides, how critical is any of that dlc anyway? Are we gonna now decry the free DLC promos with Dr. Pepper and 7-11 too? Most of that stuff is superfluous junk anyway.

That sort of DLC is something they throw in to help someone on the fence decide that yes, there really can't be a better use of $44.99 of their money than buying a Liara statue. I doubt anyone is planning on buying all of that specifically for the DLC.

Apparently some of the endings have leaked and people are not pleased

that jives with that "leak" that occurred several months ago during some private beta. some people were really upset at the endings and bioware said they were going to change some of them. either they did and they still suck or they didn't even bother changing them.
