I used the sniper rifle with great success. Just aim for the skull.

Hmmmm have not got the elephant gun yet. Have tried the sniper with dead eye and even shot one in the eye and it kept coming.

Yeah, that's the one. I get it and the same gun from Bioshock 2 confused. It's been a while. The the super-hunting-sniper-rifle. Whatever it's called in this game.

Red Dead Redemption Upcoming DLC Plans Revealed
Rockstar has today announced its plans for Red Dead Redemption's upcoming DLC following the release of the free 'Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack' last month.
It looks like there are a few surprises to look forward to, with the 'Legends and Killers Pack' leading the DLC charge at the beginning of August and culminating in the very intriguing sounding 'Undead Nightmare' Pack this autumn.
Legends and Killers will include 8 classic characters from Red Dead Revolver, a new projectile weapon called 'The Tomahawk' and 9 new multiplayer locations. It'll be out in August for 800 MS Points on the XBL Marketplace.
This will be followed up with the 'Liars and Cheats' Pack, which will incorporate new horse races, attack and defend multiplayer challenges, 8 additional MP characters, multiplayer versions of Poker and Liar's Dice and the Explosive Rifle weapon, again for 800 Points. Date TBC.
Then there's the Free Roam pack, which adds new free roam challenges, new action areas and defensive placements and more. Price and date also TBC.
Finally, the Undead Nightmare Pack throws zombies into the mix, with 8 undead characters for multiplayer, a brand-new single-player adventure, additional animals unleashed into the world and new dynamic events to encounter, all for 800 MS Points.
Both 'Legends and Killers' and 'Liars and Cheats' will include new achievements, but the others haven't been confirmed for fresh cheevos just yet. It's doubtful that they'll leave out achievements for the other DLC packs however. That'd just be silly.
That's quite a hefty range of DLC to look forward to, we think you'll agree, meaning that we're not quite ready to be riding off into the sunset as the credits roll just yet.

I'm really only interested in the single-player pack. Undead could be interesting. One of the missions in the single-player looked like it was going to go supernatural, but it never did.

As for the four new DLC packs, I don't think I'm gonna pay $40 for them. That's a whole new game. Once I finish the single player, I'll sell and wait for the inevitable GOTY.

I miss the days when I could finish a game with the knowledge that it was done and could be sold or put away on the shelf. I always feel like I'm never really finished with any newer release games these days.

While I'm still excited for all the new upcoming stuff.....I agree, I am so sick of this zombie shit everywhere....didn't think rockstar would do it but oh well for whatever reasons, people fucking love zombies.
"Hey let's make an awesome western game" "Yeah!!.....and will put some fucking zombies in it!!!"

I imagine that's a big reason for DLC in the first place. If they can make more people want to hold on to their games instead of trading them in while they can still get a good price, perhaps there will be fewer used copies to go around and get sold.

Kudos to rockstar for already working on not just one DLC pack but four. I can see why the rush to get all out sooner than later considering the lineup of games coming out the last 4Q of this year and 1Q of next.

The first two dlc's look like crap....10 new maps for mp??? Do you really think they are "new" maps, or just another section of the free roam map. That was ok when it was free, but 10 bucks is bullshit....
The new single player stuff and free roam stuff has my attention a little more, but I will wait to see on this one. Not what I wanted for dlc....I wish they would come out with more co-op stuff.
On another note, finally got GOLD on The River on Hard...the last of the hard missions to get gold...hell yeah
