I have Alan Wake pre-ordered as well I might just cancel it because I'm gonna spend all my time on RDR. Then after I get the $20 credit just order it.

Whatever you do, don't do that! You'd miss out on the AW $10 pre-order credit and that would negate half of your $20 gift card essentially. If you don't preorder it, at least wait until the price on Amazon drops before you buy it. A $39.99 sale in the first couple of months wouldn't shock me at all.

My plan was to pick up Alan Wake in a couple of months once used copies start flooding ebay (check out how many copies of Heavy Rain are available now). I know I'd miss out on the free DLC, and I don't know if that would be a significant loss or not, but I agree that RDR will be taking up a bulk of my gaming time for the next couple of months. No point in snatching up some other new game that would demand a lot of my time when I knew I'd find it cheaper soon enough.
Now ModRacers, on the other hand, that one I need!

Seriously, why is there a review embargo on this game? It's clearly going to get spectacular out-of-this-world reviews and could use some more pre-release buzz as it's not exactly GTA IV when it comes to IP recognition.
