Didn't see this posted yet but the Free Realms free-to-play MMO goes live today on the PSN. Your jobs are capped at level 4 but a lifetime sub is only $34.99 to unlock the level cap and lots of other stuff. This seems geared towards a younger crowd so it may be good for you parents.

Interesting that they didn't receive bad press as Microsoft and the RROD. I mean, not as bad press.

I have a PSP code for LittleBigPlanet, SoCom Fireteam Bravo and Ratchet and Clank Size Matters. I already have LBP don't care about SoCom and only want R&C. It seems a waste to use it just for that game. It also expires tonight. If anyone's interested, hit me up.

I'm interested if its available.

edit : Wait, it's one code for all three games? That's weird.

I know they have 'expiration dates' on them, but I had someone give me a code for Everyday Shooter that had expired 5-6 months earlier and it still worked fine when I entered it.

Of course this is probably mute since you originally posted on 3/31. :)

You sure it's not a moo point? ;)

Edison, in case you didn't get the humor it's actually a "moot point". No points can actually speak.

And for the record, I've had PSN codes expire on me a couple of times. That doesn't really happen with XBOX codes, but for whatever reason, PSN really likes giving you that "Expired Code" message. It annoys the hell out of me. It's digital downloadable content, not milk.

Anyone having trouble getting to sign on to the PS3 today? When I turn on mine I get this error code 8071D36 which keep me from signing in. I look up on other forum and found out that I'm not the only one with this, so I'm guessing that Sony maybe getting ready for an update or maybe Sony getting hacked and getting it fixed ASAP.

Just a shot in the dark. (I already spent my time with Google)

Suddenly 2 channels sound is not working in my PS3. PCM, Stereo, DD 2.0, anything that's 2 channels, videos, trailers, movies, it doesn't matter if it's in Netflix, PSN, hard drive, etc.

Anything that's 5.1 works fine.

Any ideas? I already tried resetting everything. Started from zero, etc.

Just got home from work and turn on my PS3 and got sign in, so Sony must've fixed it today.

Stupid hackers.

Here's a question:

Does anyone else's PS3 take a long time to load up all the items on the XMB when you start up? Or quit out of a game?

My PS3 will bring up my theme and the main icons (System, Audio, Video, Game, etc) upon starting up, but the sub menu icons can sometimes take 5 seconds to load (it's usually at least 2 seconds). Same thing happens when I quit out of a game.

This is a 320GB slim model. I feel like my fat 80GB MGS bundle did not have this kind of issue. I do know that I have a lot of stuff installed on the system but I still have half my hard drive free.

Anyone else?

Um... I appreciate you having fun and all, but this was a PS3 question. Not an Xbox question.

Re: The Official PS3 thread - Software bugs? We don't need no software bugs

Before I asked the question on how to clear the cache, I did google it and found three answers. 1 - there isn't a cache to clear. 2 - to open up your internet browser and clear that cache. Haven't used the browser at all so that seemed irrelevant. 3 - was to delete all your game data.

So, did you mean one of those? Or did you mean something else?

Re: The Official PS3 thread - Software bugs? We don't need no software bugs

Do you have the latest update? Installing a new update clears the cache and can make it run faster.
