But but but! It's different! One is achievement whoring for a game I hate and the other is intentionally playing a game one likes in a way that makes playing it pointless! It's totally different, hypocrites!

Re: Borderlands
Finally finished the last Moxxi tournament - all solo! - and have my precious 100% completion status on this game, AGAIN. My God, the agony of that experience is unparallelled in modern gaming, I think (insert agonizing modern gaming experience that does, in fact, parallel that experience right here in your quoted reply to this post).
Now, Borderlands, you're going back on the shelf with all the other unplayed games for being a very, very bad boy. Until the next DLC.
Hopefully they got enough negative feedback from Moxxi to never, ever do something like that again, even for future games. It's like paying to get raped.

Re: Borderlands
Well congrads on the game MoviePage and dealing with Moxxie. I didn't complete it all but I got it mainly for the bank and a few rounds. The Bank saved my butt with four characters swapping weapons.
Now I hope they're working on some DLC and soon. Already Rockstar is working on four packs for Red Dead between now and August. The game still has a bit of life in it and still fun though I haven't played it in over five or so weeks.

Apparently Gamestop had a listing for Borderlands: GOTY edition guide but has since pulled it down. Here's some info on IGN about it. (yeah, an article about a item that is no longer on GS's site)

Re: Borderlands

Wasn't Knoxx released like a week after it was announced? Here's hoping for the same on this one.
*edit - damn you pinata, now I'm going to be glued to the PC all night awaiting "my orders."

I've just started Crackdown 2 and have yet to finish Red Dead but the moment something hits for Borderlands I'm all over it.

Re: Borderlands
No more BL!!! aaahhh. too many games.
yes, i'll play it. don't worry.
maybe its just a patch for the knoxx bugs? i'd be happy with that! though an expansion is always welcome.

Misreading a post 101.I read it as new DLC only available on the GOTY edition, like SW: Force Unleashed.

I'm in for the GOTY. Never played Borderlands at all, but I did buy the Zombie Island DLC when it was on sale a few months ago in anticipation of playing it eventually. Wasted purchase, I guess, but how do you know, right?

Re: Borderlands
I just finished my first playthrough with Brick yesterday. He was my last to beat the game with, and he really didn't become fun for me to play until I got around level 20 or so. I tried to stick with launchers and shotguns, but when I got an Orange Torgue Cobra sniper rifle with explosive splash damage, that was a major part of my arsenal from Old Haven onward.

Re: Borderlands
You'll like Mordecai...I've played all four and it's a toss up between Siren and Mordecai as my favorite. I give him a slight edge with his "Bird" along with Pistol fire rate and his sniper mods come in real handy

Re: Borderlands
Yeah, when I played through the first time, it was me as Lilith and my buddy as Mordecai. I dabbled with a soldier until about 25-30. Whether I pick Brick or Mordecai next time will depend on what my new partner chooses.
