I just recently picked up GH Warriors of Rock and Band Hero the complete band set. I would like to point out that my drum pedals wiring covering peeled off the wire just moments after taking it out of the box. It literally crumbled into sticky little pieces of rubber. Has anyone else had this happen?

Just picked up Warriors of Rock last week from the Best Buy sale. I forgot it came with the Soundgarden greatest hits CD. This is how all those band specific games should have been.

I finally got around to opening up my TRU copy of GH:WoR (PS3) last night, and I could not figure out how to import the GH5 tracks into this game. It looks like I need to use the in-game music store, but the store was down, and after a quick search, may have been down all summer. Anyone able to do this?

(Preemptive TLDR: All Guitar/Band/DJ Hero DLC is going away on March 31 across all consoles and will be on sale for 50% off from now until then)

Sad to say that the downloadable songs for the Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero games, and the Guitar Hero mobile game will no longer be available after March 31, 2014. The Guitar Hero servers will stay online and any previously purchased downloadable content is unaffected by this change.
We want to thank all of you for supporting Guitar Hero over the last nine years. To celebrate this great community, selected songs and tracks will be available for as much as a 50% discount on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii from now until the end of the month.
For more information, please visit the store on your console.
Also, over at the iTunes store, the mobile game will also be available at a special discount until the end of the month.

Four days after a report said Rock Band would return to console gaming, another report says Guitar Hero will make a comeback. Kotaku U.K., citing two different unnamed sources, says it may even launch this year.
Kotaku U.K. reports one source saying Activision will announce the series' return at E3 2015. The game will be made for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and, yes, new instrument peripherals are included in the plans. Visually, crowds and performers will take on more realistic looks, as opposed to the cartoony style of the original series.

That's good to hear. We all know the real problem with Activision's reign o'er Guitar Hero was the cartoony style of the original series.

Activision is planning to announce a new Guitar Hero game next month, according to a purported invitation to a reveal event that the company is said to have sent out to media in Germany, reports Gamereactor UK.
Gamereactor UK has since taken down its story, but NeoGAF preserved the original text.
