I am so awful with tank shots. The warhawk has to be completely still and like right over my head before I can get a good shot in.

Hogwash! You are a positively fearsome defender. You've probably flamethrowered me a thousand times...and don't get me started on your knife-wielding skills.
One of the first things I check when a map starts is whether you are on my team, as it gives me a good idea of how much defense I need to play.
There is a lot to be said for role-playing and predictability on your team.

And then... wait for it... wait for it...

I have a love/hate relationship with trying to take Chew's flag. I get to fly over there give him a good ol' "Hi, Chew," hover around some rock/cliff/obstacle, unload every missile I've got, land and then get knifed/flamed/inquisitioned before I can leave the base.
And then... wait for it... wait for it...

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Any requests for tomorrow?
I've been thinking about a medium sized death match (not team) in the middle of the night...something open where there isn't an obvious "meeting point" like a bridge.
Probably another DLC-free night. Lee got the DLC, but I assume Cruz hasn't, and my other new guy from work hasn't.

Wish I could play today but got the terrible 80010514 error code which seems to be the blu ray lens malfunctioning! So no go for me for a while until I get this hardware problem fixed.
Its a 60gb model.

I also had a 60gb model and sold mine on ebay several months ago to buy a new Slim. I was afraid of that type of thing happening!!

Chew, how much trouble was it to swap everything out from one console to the next? I have that backup slim in my bedroom, but that didn't replace my main 60g. I feel like I'm pressing my luck by not replacing it before I can't get full value for it.

Is there anything on the console other than game saves? If you have your PSN ID and password, you can just log in on the new system and download everything you've bought from PSN on the old machine for free (up to five times, I think). At least that's how I understood it.

My Fat Princess game still plays and the other game is something Commando they are in the hard drive. Those I can still play. I upgraded my hard drive, so I would swap it back to the original 60GB in the worst case scenario. Reading about replacing the blu ray lens now.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
It was pretty easy actually. Instead of going the "back-up" route, I transferred data from one PS3 to another. All of my PSN titles, game shares, and game saves copied over just fine. You couldn't even tell the difference.

I upgraded the thing to a 250g HD and it looks like the consoles with those upgraded hard drives are actually selling for more money on eBay. So I guess I'll leave that hard drive in the slot rather than swap em back.

I thought about that, but realized that I can use my Sony Credit Card points to pay for more than half of the new system then sell the fatty on eBay for roughly 325-350 if the current prices are a good indication of what I'd get for a backward compatible PS3 with an upgraded hard drive.
