I actually had that set last week, but I don't remember whether it stuck.

Some settings are odd that way. I always have to double check to make sure "all-talk" is still on before I launch as well.

Anyway, will try again this week, as I think you are correct.

Any thoughts on team damage? I like to set it at 10% sometimes just for grins.

Steve,

Consider your maps loaded...least I can do for a regular.

Maybe I'll load a larger percentage of expansion maps this week. Ofermod can suck it.

I'm on vacation this week so I'm not posting in the forums much.

I'll certainly be on tonight though.

...feverishly trying every variation of "Warhawk, bitches" for my server message...but it won't take it.

You guys think L&O will let me get away with it for the next thread title?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I think we had 3 ties last night, including one on the only Team Deathmatch...and several other games were 1-flag wins. Just a really enjoyable night overall.

The funniest thing I saw last night, was Flip crashing a Warhawk. My description could never do it justice, but suffice to say that he's looking to hit me with a cluster bomb but wasn't terribly close...which gave me a great view of him dumping his balls and it looked like he pushed the stick the wrong way, because he nosedived right into them! It was spectacular...certainly more impressive than driving a jeep into a corner and honking.

Chew was rolling again last night. It was good to see him getting offensive.

I loved the South City Jetpack Death Match Lobby...a really nice change of pace IMO. to Steve. I doubt he intended for it to be the lobby, but it seemed like a nice fit when I was loading the maps.

I saw Digi get online at 10 PM or so...hoped he'd hop in, but I assume he was watching blu-ray porno.

I think if I can combine dropping my balls with that nosedive into your tank, I think I've finally figured out how to make that kamikaze mission succeed. Ha ha!

...if only I wasn't such a terrible shot when I go for that ball buster.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Dropping your balls on a small target is hard...especially when your balls have a lot of momentum. You have to sort of sweep your balls across the target before they explode.

I had a lot of fun jamming by balls into Chew's bunker on Island Outpost. He had to be wondering how I get my balls to fit in there!

Balls!

I had a rough work night the previous night and so had to watch something with the wife. Glad to hear you guys had a good time though. I should be back next week.

Hope it wasn't a chick flick.

I can do some hosting. I'll just use the boards from last week. I thought it was a nice mix. Any changes you want to make?

No, I was fine with those if you can remember them. The only one that went a bit awry was King of the Hill with jetpacks. Jetpacks kind of break CTF on a smaller map IMO. That might be a fun zones or TDM though.

I'm not sure about the order, but I think it was:

Badlands: South City DM*** (jetpacks) (30 min)
Eucadia: Northern Bridge TDM (20 min)
Island Outpost: Over the Bridges CTF (20 min)
Archipelago: Acropolis Assault CTF (20 min)
Badlands: Supply Chain CTF (20 min)
Eucadia: Valley Battle CTF (20 min)
Vaporfield Glacier: Communique (20 min)

Omega Factory: Pipeline? CTF (20 min)
Tau Crater: Decent sized CTF? (20 min)

The bolded ones are staples.

Please remember: All talk, zero seconds spawn delay, 10 seconds between maps, and random teams

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I might try another Omega Factory map. I wasn't a huge fan of that one. Other suggestions in the Omega?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I don't know Omega Factory all that well. I don't think it's a great CTF map. It's too vertical.

Surprise us, but please run around in the map before loading it.

Back from a (posting) vacation.

I don't remember who it was, but I'm guessing somebody got a good laugh out of me circling the hill looking for our flag on one of those CTF maps on Tuesday. He was hiding in the rafters. I didn't even know you could do that and must of checked in there at least three times.

If Flip is hosting this week, it should be a good week for me.

Seriously, those UFOs thingys in the expansion maps last week were tough. I don't know how many times I hit it with a rocket launcher or some other good weapon and it never went down. I'll have to find a tank next time.

I'll be several hours from home two weeks from tomorrow, so it'll only be my third "no-show".

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

That was a bit funny...but I didn't know about that for a long time either. Don't know if we'll see the dropship this week, but it's certainly good for trophies (at least when I'm flying it)

Just an FYI: the 3.0 firmware came out today. I would imagine it's required, so you'll have to wait through that before you can do any Warhawking tonight.
