Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Between tax, gas and having to deal with TRU, I'd go with Amazon anyway.
I just can't imagine this one lasting long. If we can't get a group to play games like Borderlands, Uncharted 2 or Burnout Paradise, I can't imagine us maintaining interest in a cowboy game.
I'm taking a "wait and see" approach. If you guys are still playing after a few weeks, I'll pick it up.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I'm getting Modnation!!! And I'd recommend you stay away from Red Dead if the ONLY thing you'd want from it is to play MP and you say you despise rockstar controls. this feels no different. It's enjoyable, yes, but this is no Uncharted 2 gun system.
Stopped in to say that I have officially moved from NYC to make my way out west. Will be spending some time in Atlanta and hope to have my system set up by next Tuesday to join everyone (Although Modnation is coming out next Tuesday!)

Is Atlanta "out west"?
R2, yep, it's the LBP looking one. The kart controls felt odd to me in the demo, but it might just be a learning curve...and the multiplayer should be a blast.

I don't do racing games, otherwise I would. The only thing I do on racing games is turn the car around and drive in the opposite direction to try and crash into the guy in first place so he loses. Which, ironically, was the most fun I had in GTA IV. Sounds about right, ay?

Also, Borderlands didnt work out for me because you and Chew were always playing and leveling up and then when I could actually play with you guys you were 30 levels ahead of me, so that game really is not good for large groups to coordinate. Battlefield BC2 on the other hand would be good(would love to see some warhawk or MW2 cross over there) and I would imagine RDR would possibly be good as well.
BTW, tried to get into the game last night and kept getting denied. Couldn't get a ping for your server or anything...oh well.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
We all had that problem at first, some people had to restart and then it worked, eventually it let me in.
Borderlands didn't work for me because it was just co-op and I like some competitive matches, Burnout Paradise doesn't work for me because I don't like racing, and I would be down for some Uncharted 2 if anybody ever wanted to hop on there. I picked up the first DLC pack when I got the Warhawk packs.
I think a Red Dead Redemption night would work, even if we just got on for one hour or so on a Wednesday or Sunday or Monday or whatever. Right now we have Chew, Flip, Wiz, and myself, and it sounds like Cruz is considering it. Nic and R2 should follow suit. I can't really justify two video game purchases right now otherwise I would be all over BFBC2, considering the fact that I already have MW2 and already part of a good weekly game for it, I opted for something different in RDR.
From now on since Lost is officially over on Tuesdays I should be able to stay on from 8 until 11 or whenever for Warhawk.

I'd rather go with another weeknight for RDR: either Monday or Wednesday is fine with me.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I am amused by the idea of us taking over the forum with multiplayer PS3 groups...and putting "Weekly Warhawk" in all the titles.
Still, using the proper threads for those games would be better...as Chew and I did with the Borderlands thread.

I don't think I will be buying this. I have too many games that I haven't finished and I just picked up God of War III on Monday.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I have a new recruit for next week (buddy of mine in DC), so it'll be all non-DLC maps.
Also keeping the no-TOWs rule for now unless anyone objects.
Hopefully we won't have connection issues, and I can get Chew's Rumble Dome loaded. I had it loaded up last week, but had to shut down and restart...just loaded a saved rotation.
Any other requests?

Can we still do a grinder free for all, maybe a quick ten minute one somewhere in amidst the CTF and TDM's later in the night? I like just having jeeps available.

It'll be nice to not have to worry about jetpacks the entire night while defending the flag.
Chew's Rumble Dome: that sounds like a MMA food challenge.
