Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Sounds like you guys had fun tonight. I had to work until around 11:00pm CST.

HOWEVER.

Next Tuesday, I have the evening completely free. I'm so excited to play!

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

highlights for me

suicide binoc on hudson was fun.
stealing rubadub's tank and killing him with it twice
Somehow I had a lot of kills on the dog fight. I suck in a warhawk.

Ahhhrgh. You had a ton of kills in the dogfight because I could never finish anyone off. I just left those wounded ducks up there for you to fetch. Also I was too busy trying to mine Slider.

At least you have a wife with a good taste in film.

Once again, Slider, great strategy on "Espionage".

Probably didn't help much in the grand scheme of things, however.

Yeah...I saw the APC.

I eventually made sure to kill him and leave the APC there.

I only had Shao, and he didn't know how to use it anyway.

My only hope was to keep air superiority and make driving the flag back as miserable as possible.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

You guys picked somebody else up towards the end, which was when I got out of the APC and started doing some more productive stuff. When it was 3-on-2 I think it was a sound strategy, but I don't think Hudson knew he could spawn in it over there.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I saw you very early and shot the APC a bit just to let you know that I knew you were there...and were irrelevant.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Chew grabbed your flag like six times after spawning there. We killed Shao at least twice and saved our flag before he could plant it because of the APC. Glad you thought it was irrelevant though, because that is what made it all possible.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Easy to be clever when you're a man up. Good job.

FWIW, I use the same strategy in Rush on BFBC all the time...sneak into their base and be a mobile spawn point...maybe toss grenades at the MCOM.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Fun times in wookie last night. Played a couple of Conquest maps with Ktown, Diecast, and Flip. Flip had a sweet wookie-stab that I got to watch as I spawned on him, and I had a cool double-wookie take down with the Carl Gustav.

I spent much of my time playing an engineer and practicing with the Carl Gustav. I took down 3-4 tanks, a helicopter (using the video I posted), and a dunebuggy (motherfucker) with 3 dudes in it.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

You missed my piece de resistance when I snuck up behind four wookies hunkered around a windmill on the next map. I stabbed all four, but one managed to re-spawn on the fourth before I could finish the job. And I almost finished him with my pistol before he got me.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

My requests this week:
  • APCs on the 30 minute CTF map on Archipelago
  • A few maps with Dropships that don't usually have them (ie, non-DLC maps)
  • Once again, no jetpacks.

1. Did Slider get your password???? I think that's doable.
2. Dropships are only loadable on the biggest maps, which is good if we get numbers...terrible if not.
3. I'll limit jetpacks to 3 maps or less, but you guys are super laaaaaaaame!

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

You never would have put APCs on a 30-minute Archipelago map if I requested it.

It might call for "special" TOW rules.
