If you can find a decent deal on the Ultimate Edition, that's the way to go, even if it's a bit extra.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
After the demo...decided to stick with BP.
Holy balls did I have a great time in BC2 tonight! Vong and me just laughing our asses off. I got on a roll a couple of maps, and he got his first couple of knife kills. Tons of wookies got stabbed, and his kids got a kick out of me hiding in a dumpster!
I think the highlight for me was a long range Gustaving of a sniper. That's gotta be a surprise!

I haven't played a FPS in years and LOVE this game. It's a lot of fun and these other guys that play here and very helpful.

Unfortunately, he's up against Australian prices, so the availability and prices will differ widely, usually not in his favor.

I picked up the regular edition brand new, currently downloading the 1.7GB update. It has the VIP code for the extra maps. I hope to be able to join you guys on Friday night, but it depends on my plans for the weekend. I've never played a FPS on console, but the first couple of missions in the single player seemed cool.
what is a wookie???

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I've been playing a few Capture the Flag games with other players ranking in the Sergeants and lower to have a matched experience level. It's been a great time, too, actually doing pretty well instead of getting stomped by Generals in other games.
I'll do my best to hop on this week as soon as I'm off work. That means I'll be home and on at around 9:30pm, if I'm lucky. Stick around if you can, but take off if you have to, no worries. Next week I should be 100% free.

Fun times working the BBC2 squad with Shumway and DarthVong tonight. Some sweet noob action in those jeeps and tanks, guys. Felt like the Three Stooges when those Level 50 guys would take us out, one by one, and then we'd try to quickly spawn on the one who happened to survive an extra three seconds.
Thanks for the add, flip.
Cool to be on a team with so many DVDTalkers at once (anybody have a head count?). Had mixed feelings about only being able to hear my fellow squad members instead of everybody. Sometimes I wanted to talk with everyone, other times it just made sense. If we wanted to switch up squads, is there a way to do it easily?
Again, I'll do my best to be on Warhawk after 9:30pm CST tomorrow night for at least a little while, if anyone is still online at that point. I work every other Tuesday night, hence my late start.
Also, is it worth creating a thread for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 so that talk is separate from the Warhawk talk in this thread?
Thanks for the add, flip.

All I know is that for a few maps, we were being enormous pricks. And it was good. We owned all four flags and the game was reduced to hanging out in the opposing base to see who could blow up K-Town's tank with C4 first.
