What asshole took "flipperbaby" as their 360 gamertag? I blame Slider's sniping style.

Seriously?

Add me flip, my 360 Friends list is puny compared to my PS3 list.

Sure thing. You'll be able to see that I'm playing either ME1 or ME2. It'll be awesome.

If you enjoy Tower Defense games, highly recommend Defense Grid (XBLA).

I've been spending time going back through to "rainbow" (to use the Pixeljunk Monsters term) all of the maps now that I'm pretty good.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that. I like a good Tower defense game.

Traitorous bastards. How dare you use the word "gamertag" in a PS3centric forum. I too, blame Slider's sniper style.

Well, I know that at least used to not be your style. You have sense taken the full course load of the Slider School of douchebaggery

Seriously? It is one thing to bring in BFBC2 discussions into the warhawk thread...but 360 talk is taking it way too far. Bad form sir

It's all good clean self-deprecation. I hate myself for having one. Therefore it is all pro-PS3 anyway.

Shit. I thought this was the BFBC2 / Closet 360 gamer / Slider's School of Douche thread.

What!?! You can't expect all 6000+ posts to be about Warhawk (anyone noticed Slider snuck in and grabbed #6000)

Upon graduation you get Massengill chips, an I'm a Douchebag button and a silent microphone.

This thread is many things, including all of the above. We're dangerously close to our 2 year anniversary...or measured another way, 3 Call of Duties ago. That's a long time fellas.

You don't need that many snipers.
I've actually been in a game where I had a guy sniping from the actual room that the MCOM was in, and he not only stood there sniping while the other team armed the MCOM but also kept sniping as the MCOM alarm went off for a good 15 seconds and eventually exploded.

Just the sort of thing Slider might do.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Wow, got a shipment notice today. 2nd day first class. Not too shabby for free shipping. To think, I almost bought it for $42 about ten days ago, and then I saw it on Craigslist for $33 and almost bought it. Good things come to those who wait.

And yes, Chess, that is exactly the sort of thing I would do.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Picked up a copy from a guy on Craigslist last night for $10. Registered my brand-new PSN account and am ready to play. I usually work every other Tuesday night, including this week. Next week, however, I already have plans to be out of town so I'll see if I can get a little practice under my belt and not be a total noob, just a rookie noob, by the time I'm able to join in on February 15 (no expansion pack, by the way, so the regular maps would be appreciated). Any tips on how to customize my soldier?

Looks like fun.

Awesome!

I just recommend you read the first post and please don't judge the game based on your multiplayer experience outside of our group. It's a 3-year old game, so anybody still playing it (and there are a bunch) has gotten scary good. We tend to give new guys lots of space to figure things out and we generally moderate the cheaper and more powerful weapons. At least 75% of the time, most of us are just messing around and laughing at the shenanigans.

Customization is purely aesthetic, as there are no perks or weapon upgrades. Basically, you have the same guns and abilities as everybody else. If you rank up in the public servers, you'll unlock some new outfits, and you have tons of Warhawk paint schemes from the start.

What do you guys think about adding flame throwers to Vehicular Manslaughter?

And what do you think about a Grinder CTF?

I never liked Grinder CTF because it seems like a slippery slope (once a team gets a flag they can easily get two or three more) and don't forget, a team Grinder means some asshole can get to the binocs. Can you put APCs on Grinder or is it too small?
