Same here half the fun for me is to be disruptive in some way. My way of saying "Pay attention to me dammit!!!" - especially since I'm not very good at Warhawk. Plus it makes me laugh to see the ways I get pwned.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

As the (sort of) moderator, I'd like to see folks giving a little more space to Diecast. It seemed like he was a little frustrated last night.

I also look forward to more balanced games at some point.

Still some funny stuff last night.

- I was making a strong run with the flag, and we were behind. Chew, who is on my team, comes over the top of a hill and just steamrolls my jeep for about 50 yards...not stopping until we both get blowed up.

- Frizby 2, my kid, killing Slider 3-4 times on Eucadia. "My kid is whipping Slider's ass!!!"

- Also, Cruz riding around in my Warhawk without me even knowing it. I shot down Flip with a cluster of missiles while fully horizontal and flying around a pillar on Archipelago, and I hear "Sweet!". It was like the voice in my head!

In my defense, from my angle it didn't look like I was rolling up on your jeep. It looked like we were side-by-side (i.e. in a position you could easily escape from). Thus my confused comment.

Also, sorry for getting so wrapped up in defending my base that I didn't pay attention to who I was shooting at. I'm so used to being mainly alone at our flag.

I see. from my perspective, I was rolled up in your right tread and getting pushed backwards...toward certain death.

I'd just seen that Digi got taken out and landed to re-grab their flag and hide in the bunker, and I was viciously attacked by the blind flaming turtle of death!

Thats one way to get rid of me DM and TDM are very monotonous on warhawk and every time one comes up in the rotation I mostly check out

Did he say something to you specifically outside of last nights game? I never got the impression in game that he was actually frustrated, just friendly rivalry/commenting...however maybe I misinterpreted. If so, then I am sorry as he did end up in my sights quite a bit as I dont think we were ever on the same team.

Whenever I saw him I would get out of my tank and just run around him to give him the kill. He was adorable. When he first popped in though, he got me and nic good in that turret while we were trying to kill you in our tanks. Funny stuff.

the best part of the night was on tau crater, just me, steve, flip, and chew. Steve and I were on a team. i binoced chew and flip, then I decided to binoc steve. He then switches teams so I started to play hide and seek. it took them 4 minutes to find me.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Guessing that ended badly.

I was really surprised to come on at 8 and find 4-5 people on...but we were playing 5 on 5 in no time. Weird.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I've been getting on later and later. I can't make the 8/7central times like I used to. The games are going to be more of a 9:00 thing for me for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, but I didn't think you were there the whole time. As to not blowing up, I lobbed grenades at a bunch of them.

I found a great place to hide while I was looking for you. Next time I'll try being the hunted.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

"The Hunted"

Thinking of a mode for that...TDM...everybody switches to one team except for "the hunted". The hunted gets a two minute head start while everybody else aims at the ground. "The hunted" can use whatever they want...mines, tows, etc, but mostly just hides. Objective is to survive for as long as possible...or maybe die as few times as possible.

Basically, it's hide and seek (and kill) in Warhawk.

Who wants to volunteer?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

If we do it, IMO it requires the maximum size map to give the Hunted a good shot.

I wouldn't mind trying it. I don't think we need to worry about weapons though, the objective is just to find them, right? Even if the Hunted wins the fight, the other person will give up the spot.

"Hiding with a TOW"? I don't see that happening.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Sounds a bit like Mike Myers, but having ONE person be hunted, and the other team be the hunters sounds much, much more suited for Warhawk's maps. I'd definitely be down for some of this.
