Assuming Cruz still doesn't have DLC and shows up at 8 or so...suggested playlist:

1. Vaporfield - Grinder DM (Lobby 30 min...all others 20)
2. Tau Crater - Tug of War TDM (No Warhawks)
3. Vaporfield - Communique CTF
4. Eucadia - Valley Battle CTF
5. Eucadia - Northern Bridge TDM (no Warhawks)
6. Island Outpost - Across the Bridges CTF
7. Archipelago - Acropolis Assault CTF
8. Eucadia - Urban Strike TDM (No Warhawks)
9. Badlands - Supply Chain CTF
10. Destroyed Capital - King of the Hill CTF (no Warhawks)

Folks seem to be enjoying the Warhawk-free maps, so try to accommodate for now. As always, open mic, randomized teams (uncheck balanced teams), enable wrench/biofield, 10 seconds between maps and 15 second flag return. Lately, I've been going with 5 second spawn, 30% team damage, and a server message that somehow insults R2's mother.

This dinner will have me, KTown and Hunter out of pocket until at least 8, and Sean is still out of town. Shao is also out of town next week, and Diecast is always hit or miss. Could be interesting attendance next week from me and my crew.

Don't know if anybody noticed, but Amazon has the online code for all 3 WH expansions for $15.00, plus it can be shared.

Turns out it is necessary.

I'm supposed to be on a Business Class account with my ISP that not only gives me a discount, but improved speed. The standard account is a whole 1/2mb upload speed, while Business Class is 1mb upload.

When they fixed my connection after that storm a few weeks back, they must of set me back to 1/2mb upload. I thought it had been slow, but it was confirmed when I went into Warhawk and the speed test said I could only host 8.

Weren't you the one who used to give me a hard time about my upload speed?

Something about "Big Boy Internet"?

I'm sorry, I think that was you making fun of me (Posts #821-822)

I didn't get the ability to handle 20 players until November (Post 2096).

So there.

To be fair, I "pointed and laughed" first...and it did take me forever to find that little nugget.

Turns out this thread is a pretty funny read!

Cruz? DLC?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Sorry if I haven't been posting but the new baby boy was born yesterday @ 9:02 am. 7lbs 9oz 20 in long ( smaller than his amazon sisters - 8lbs 8oz 20 in and 8lbs 11oz 21 in ). I've been running around with the first day of daycare today for my 22 month old (she'll be doing to days a week) being both mom and dad around the house.
No DLC yet - 2 more weeks or so for me.
I should be on tonight 9pmish edt - just me and the girls at home tonight. mommy's at the hospital.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Glad I wasn't hosting tonight...gave me a chance to bail for once when I was frustrated.

Digi's teams dominated every game, and I'm almost never on his team...just breaks the game for me.

Probably jump back on in a bit.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I lost about 75% of the games tonight, but I still had fun because I don't really care about winning. One of the matches was something like 0-3, and I didn't even notice until the game was over.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

That can't be right...you were only on my team once or twice and I lost every game except for one.

Lately, I think I'm having more fun in TDM than I am in flag...which is kind of odd. One of these nights, I'm just going to do a full game of DM and TDM...lose the objective based games for a bit.
