Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I had fun for the first half of the night. I can't take the score anger, I just can't. It makes me feel uncomfortable, even/especially when I'm on the losing team. It takes my enjoyment level from a 10 down to about a 3, and this is coming from a guy who lost 75% of the games tonight. If you can only have fun when you're winning, then you've obviously misread the OP. I might not be on next week.
The first half of the night was a blast. Missed Steve after he signed off though.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I didn't catch or have any score anger tonight. For the most part, people let Lee play a little bit and backed off when the score was getting out of hand, so I was all good.
My only frustration at all tonight was on a game my team won. Digi was just whooping my ass in the air on Northern Bridge.
I could have sworn I loaded King of the Hill...will get it in next week for sure.

Hands down, the funniest moments of the night were from Mrs. Nicholls...her flying the warhawk with friz as a passenger was awesome. I watched the whole thing...he counted down and was off by maybe half a second about how much linger he had to live. Then i watched her fly back, hit everything around me, stop, shoot at me and be no where near, then hover right next to my tank for about 15 seconds...at that point I figured it was fair game to shoot her down....
I hope Brian doesn't let her drive his car.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I kind of liked the team damage. It tends to add to the funny.
I had a great moment on "that map you all hate" where I was at my base with slider just running around aimlessly. I grabbed a tank, and he ran in the other direction, and I was absolutely compelled to blast him. Since we were both at the base defending the flag and there was zero spawn time, it was minimal impact...just funny. Of course he nailed me a few minutes later the exact same way.
Other moments that amused me:
Shooting down R2 in the air and then flying to his base and killing him while he waited for his plane to respawn.
Balling my own teammates too many times to count
Trying to keep Sean (and passenger with flag) from driving out of bounds by dropping my warhawk in his path...and him shooting at me.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
had some good mine games with Slider. He mined the tower in our base where the binoc are. So, I put mines at the end of the bridge which happened to get slider. it made me feel good.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
We have to define 'near,' I say if you can't jump from the mine to the binocs in one single jump, then you are not 'near' the binocular pickup. Fair?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
1. No mines except for suicide bombers and binoc spammer hunters.
2. No TOWs except for Slider until we hear him complain
3. Give new players a break
Map twists:
1. Lobby is sometimes K&N
2. King of the Hill is always Warhawk-free

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
In many cases, the route to the binocs would be fair game (tops of ladders for instance). I love the idea that every time you climbed a tower to get binocs, you have to think about the potential mine at the top.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Almost bought RDR today at the Gamestop B2G1, but I can never figure out what to get for my third game...ended up walking away...played Mario Galaxy and Assassin's Creed 2 all day instead.
Requests this week?
Need to remind Lee to buy the DLC.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
is there a way to turn off the number of captures in CTF games, and the number of kills in TDM games, so they don't show up on the HUD?
