So what is going on in the lobby tonight? I would like Jeeps to be available, and maybe that could be our mines level if nobody protests? Lobby always seems pretty carefree and just a time for us to be jackasses and hang out before the more serious bouts kick in. Perhaps a ten minute knife and nades lobby first and then a ten minute anything goes lobby?

If I were going to allow mines, it would be in a TDM...and I'm not inclined to go that way at all, unless there are others who want to try it out.

I can do something with jeeps, but it couldn't be knives n' nades, since any map that's big enough to have vehicles is too big for K&N. The upside is that with jeeps I could also do jetpacks.

I leave it to the group:

1. Mines? (I'd probably do this in the second map in a TDM)
2. "Jeeps n' Jetpacks" or "Knives n' Nades" for the lobby?

100% team damage? Or if not that, at least 50%?

I like team damage at 30%, it's enough that if you're too careless you can kill someone, but other than that you have to pretty much be gunning for the person to take them out, which makes it much more funny.

100% team damage is a mess and makes it nearly impossible to use a warhawk, tank or binoculars effectively (maybe not so bad?). I could go for 40% though...see how it goes.

Can you only up team damage on certain maps, or can you only pick one percentage for the entire night? 100% would not be horrible for the TDM, but it would make it hard to protect the flag carriers in a CTF match.

I didn't think tanks and warhawks when I suggested 100% damage, it would be way too easy to take out your own team mates without realising it. I guess just leave team damage wherever you think it belongs.

I'm looking forward to some kamikaze jeep runs. And setting a mine at the jet pack dispenser could be interesting.

I know I can't wait for the mined jet pack dispenser.

Awesome games tonight fellas! Lots of funny team kills and mostly close/good games. I'm doing my best to make sure everybody wins a few, but I don't know for certain how I'm doing. If you've been getting your butt kicked all night and are getting frustrated, please chime in.

40% team damage felt pretty good to me, and I liked the different modes. I especially liked the Hero on Grinder map.

I played pretty dirty in the lobby with those mines...just to illustrate a point. Mining the mine spots used to be one of my favorite things to do because it's a great way to hunt douchebags.

Speaking of which, ( ) certain other weapons are fine in moderation but aggravating if spammed....TOWs and Binocs in particular. It's fine to use them, but please please please self-moderate. As a rule, I try to limit myself to 1 or 2 TOWs per map unless I'm drastically outmanned.

Grinder is officially a Hero Mode map for a while. That was awesome! I just have to remember to increase the score cap next week.

The one thing I don't like about Communique: If there aren't any vehicles near your base, it's frickin' long walk to one.
