I don't know what my problem is, but taking out people on foot while in a tank shouldn't be as hard as I make it week after week.

Funniest thing last night! I'm hiding behind a rock trying to lure Chew closer in his tank, and when he finally pulls up, I toss a biofield generator on his tank.

His response: "Really????"

My response:

I will say this though...and I'll bet others will back me up:

Chew can defend the shit out of a flag these days!

And it only took a year.

That's right flyers, you better watch out: 5-6 years from now I'll be owning the sky!

I could say the same thing about Chew. We were 3 vs 4 and he just kept the other team away from getting our flag!

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I don't know if digi was taking it easy on me, or maybe I was taking the initiative more, but I felt like I was doing better in the air against him than I've done in a while.

Also of note...I used VERY few TOWs last night despite the fact that I almost always keep one handy. I did TOW digi in the last game and felt kind of bad when he called me on it though.

I also hollered something like "FUUUUUUUCK" in the Grinder map...not aimed at any of you, but rather at my utter inability to drive a jeep under the influence!

I've had it a few days now and I'm loving how quite the Slim is after a night of gaming.

Awesome! I think I've heard my fan come on once or twice, and even then, it's a pretty quiet fan.

I kind of figured you were just messing around. I know my style of play can be annoying. I try to balance it out by not really returning fire if I'm fired at first. On foot if you hit me with a machine gun I'll just throw a couple grenades and try to run away, but I never fire back (unless I have a rocket launcher ). Same with a Warhawk, if you hit me I'll just try and fly away.

In my defense I didn't TOW from off the map. Well, technically I was off the map, but I was still vulnerable. If Chew was still in that turret he could have locked on and fired it at me. I can't direct a TOW unless I see my target before I fire, the grayscale fucks me up, and that's why I can't hit moving targets very well. So, while I was off the map (couldn't land and get out of the air craft) I was still in plain sight.

The end of the lobby was pretty funny, Chew was coming at me with his little sword so I started whipping out mines. There were less than 20 seconds left so I was just goofin' around. Made me laugh.

I missed Steve, Nic, and r2 though. And I'm guessing Cardiff is done? Sometimes he's online when we start, but never hops on. I gave Number 2 some space and let him kill me a few times, but I won't lie he caught me off guard a few times too. I never missed a chance to drop a load of balls on him, though. No mercy in that regard.

Can't wait for next week.

Kamikaze ballz ftw.

You are kind of like nic in that you instinctively seem to look for exploits in the geography, and that can be a bit offputting but won't be a big deal until you get really good. You are also clearly clever in that you've quickly wrapped your head around the rock/paper/scissors aspect of the game...i.e. "He's doing this, so I need to do this".

It didn't look that way from my POV, so sorry if I was mistaken. It looked like you were hiding behind a mountain and TOWing from way off the map. Even I will occassionaly TOW a missile turret from cover, but I try to confine myself to the actual map.

Small shenanigans in the lobby are expected...maybe even encouraged...just don't aggrevate anybody.

Me too.

I don't remember Cardiff playing all that much over the year. I'm hoping to get number 2's first name, so I can call him something else with one or two syllables...plus you never know if he's the sort to take it personally.

It would be great if people like Sean and Number 2 had accounts here.

He seemed like he was having a pretty good time.

My folks (Sean, Eroc and Marcus) are from work, so I don't really share the forum with them...especially since I hit it a few times a day at work.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Warhawk Sale on PSN this week. The DL version of the game is $14.99. Booster packs are $4.99 each or $9.99 for the three.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I was just about to post that.

Unfortunately, the store is still reflecting $29.99 for the main game while the Boosters do show the $4.99 sale price.

No further excuse for anyone not to get the expansion packs!

I'm putting my copy of the game on Half.com and getting the download version.

I'm doing the same!

Wasn't it Ravenous who was waiting for the packs to go on sale? Or someone else?

Whatever it is, best of luck. And if it helps out at all, let her know that random internet dude is on your side.
