Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Had a blast this morning with Chew!

We took on some serious critters, got some cool guns (including my first rocket launcher!), and we've gotten pretty good at saving each other's skins.

I'm gonna hop on my single player game for a bit. If anybody gets online, shoot me a note.

I approve of eggs for breakfast, but you must have different settings on your page 1. Of the regulars, I just see Chew and me.

Awesome time with Chew last night! We played until pretty late, and as repetitive as Borderlands is, it's really awesome when you get in a good firefight and you're working the second wind and saving each other.

Our dudes are pretty well armed up now too. I have a gun...that looks like an SMG...uses shotgun ammo...but shoots rockets. In the menu description, it says "Holy crap, it shoots rockets!". I approve of this arrangement. It even has a sweet digital scope, but it's just there for show, because it's pretty inaccurate.

Meanwhile, I'm giving Chew every good assault rifle I find.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Also had a blast, thanks chess

I think that's the most gaming I've done in one 24+ hour period...well, ever.

I noticed you can pay to reclaim all of your skill points at the U-station. Since I didn't really have a plan at the beginning, it sounds like a good idea to get a little more focused.

When do you want to get together again? (Hopefully flip can join and also has another character in the 18th level range)

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

If it's still absurdly cold here tomorrow, I might be up for a bit tomorrow night.

I played splitscreen with my boy today, and man time flies in that game! We played almost all day!

Looking forward to some Warhawk on Tuesday...just hope the controls aren't too confusing after Borderlands marathons.

I'll be out of Warhawk this week, but I should be able to make it for the first hour or so every week thereafter.

I'll be out on Tuesday as well (at least for some of the time) with Lost returning, I may be able to make it before or after though

Lost was the reason I picked Tuesday over Wednesday in the first place!

Weekly Wednesday Warhawk still has a nice ring to it...just saying.

I don't mind what day we play, I download the few shows I watch anyway.

I may miss a few of the coming weeks though as the Olympics will be in town and it is going to be a big party with a lot of free live music.

I'm fine with moving to Wednesdays, I won't have to plug my ears at work the next morning. (That might mean we'll have to actually start a Part 2 though: drawing L&O's attention to a thread title change might result in a closing!)

I'm up for, say, 2 hours of Borderlands tonight, chess.

Remember when I complained about being fucked up with the controls during the first few rounds some weeks ago?

Borderlands.

Guarantee you'll try to sprint.

You LOSTies, can suck some BALLS. DVR, bitches. I DVR Penguins games, you can DVR Lost. I promise you'll be just as confused later as you would be during it's regularly scheduled time slot.

What time are you guys going to start? I'd like to try to make it on tonight at some point. Though by now you guys should be way ahead of my Siren.

We're in the 18-19 level range now.

I'd like to go 7-9 tonight.

Not a clue. Worked on NHL10 the next day. I think it must have been some kind of connection issue with chess.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

The sound was fine on Saturday.

I'm up for 7-9.

Chew, playing splitscreen with my son, I think I figured out that both players have to accept the missions to get credit for them...or at least it seemed that way.

Hmmm, weird. I guess I don't know what I was doing wrong because I didn't get those mission screens when you were hosting.

I'll try again tonight.

I didn't understand how the missions worked on co-op... I'd completed the ones you guys were working on the other night so my map just kept telling me to go turn in. And I couldn't really select the mission on my list. The co-op I've done online has mostly been leaching EXP from higher ranked players and doing arena battles.

Are you going to join in tonight?

Awesome romp around the wasteland tonight Chew!
