Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Fun night...never quite got the balance right on the games. Thanks to Digi for backing off a couple of games though.

I was a bit worried about attendance early on, but we ended up with 11 people, which isn't too bad.

Anybody who missed Warhawk time for Glee needs to turn their testicles in because they clearly aren't using them.

Not a lot of funny tonight, but some observations:

- Z has gotten really really good on the ground...just wiped the floor with Cruz and me.
- Digi has completely surpassed me in the air...saw him doing things my brain wants to do but my hands won't cooperate.
- If you're playing 8 on 3, you can totally use binocs and missile turrets...but that doesn't mean you should.
- to the Flying Fortress trophy
- Infected still has some fine tuning to be done, but I'm still enjoying it

I sent the clan leadership to tormentor...will forward to Z when he sends it back.

Had a blast. Had my ass handed to me by Z on land and in the air. Got to kill Digig a few times but I got the feeling he was holding back. I really enjoyed douching it up with the missle turrets on horde mode.

Again, as I said, whether we were or weren't watching Glee, we were still definitely watching Glee. Just for you. Because it's way more fun that way.

someone had to make up for slider missing.

I had 2 good kills on digi on the glacier. I shot his warhawk down with a tank from a good distance, then I BALLED him in the ice tunnel near the base.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Digi caught me on foot in the middle base and I used the base entrance for coverage. He flipped back and forth between the opposite openings with his Warhawk. Three rocket launcher shots later....the cheese stands alone.

That is until Cruz swooped in and TEAMKILLED me. Sigh.

I actually had a good night taking on Warhawks with rocket launchers.....especially against Cruz.

I saw him and decided I wanted to drop Balls on him from above I released the Balls just as you killed him. I wanted to help you out.

Both of those were awesome. Especially the balls since you were obviously in no way in control of your warhawk as you were bouncing around the tunnel so I thought there was no way you were a threat...and then you dropped the balls. Nice

So, even though we got raped on the horde mode, I still thought it was pretty fun. The missile turrets and binocs probably could have been reigned in a bit, but still fun. Need a different map on that one though so we can actually keep a base. Kept running out of warhawks and vehicles.

Also, funniest moment for me last night was in the TDM where I was in a warhawk going full speed and Cruz was going the opposite way at full speed. Right as we were getting ready to collide I pulled up and drop balls right on cruz which took him out and then killed me as well since I was too close when they sploded.

Yeah, horde mode needs to be a map with only one direct route to police and fewer missile turrets. I always thought Acropolis Assault was a good horde map.

Z's already got it, I sent it to him directly, he just needs to log in to get the trophy.

By the way, I checked and a Red clan server can be done, just name it "DVD Talk Vs All", with all our clan on one side and randoms on the other. There's no need to "challenge" another clan to get the trophy.

Had a great time on Tues. also. I think I frustated K-Town quite a bit on acquiring bases.
I liked infection, kinda tricky to find a spot to really hide well but I stopped hiding and started shooting.
Trophies! Flying Fortress and I already sent back the Clan leadership back to Chess, Thanks Tormentor and Chess!

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Cool. I'll send it to Cruz on Tuesday and he can forward to Slider.

Glad you liked Infected. I think that map worked pretty well...big area with lots of hills, and I'm definitely sticking to keeping it simple on weapons. Everybody uses the same weapons and everybody can drive jeeps. Everybody hides for the most part, but I'd be interested in seeing what would happen if the un-Infected stood their ground somewhere.

Thinking about Northern Bridge for Infected next week.

You bitches need to watch your soap operas on weekends. And when it comes to Slider, forget the headset, somebody get that fuck a DVR.

I watched a clip or two of Glee, and holy shit was that stupid!

In Glee's defense though... that's kind of the whole point of the show.

But I'm not going to die defending it -- you either think it's funny or it sickens your soul. Though, if someone says shit about Community I'm going to have to get militant.

Googling "Community" so I can make fun of it...whatever it is. Sounds stupid at any rate.

My wife watches Glee. I tried to once but my testicles protested and dragged me out of the room. Community rocks as does Big Bang Theory. Why they had to put them into the same time slot just pisses me off.

I guess I don't have the "watercooler" experience that some folks do. The only shows my coworkers ever talk about are dumbshit reality TV shows.

That particular episode may be my favorite half-hour sitcom episode since the Kenny Rogers Roasters' Seinfeld.
