So yeah...cleaned some stuff off the hard drive to make space on the trusty old 60GB...loaded up Borderlands...got just a few minutes past the character select and my PS3 just....turns off.

To make matters worse, the 60GB won't do the fan-check disk-recovery trick, so I had to take the unit apart to get my disk out. I was (I assume) successful in not damaging anything. I think I'm gonna buy a slim whether I get this one fixed or not, but I'll likely order it from Amazon, so I'm out for Borderlands and, more importantly, Warhawk this week.

Borderlands Sunday?

Fairly light turnout tonight. We only had 4-5 on a couple of the early maps until more jumped on around 8:30.

I felt lost throughout the whole night, and I don't know why. Going back and forth with Steve binoculars-style was fun.

Hell yeah!

Some observations/comments:

• While on foot and only 10 feet from your opponent, trying to use binoculars isn't going to end well for either party.
• Team Death Match with 4 people isn't a whole lot of fun.
• Defending your flag on Supply Chain makes you (me ) a sitting duck.
• I love Grinder
• Those Flying Saucers are incredibly hard to take down.
• "No one expects the Chew-ish Inquisition!"
• A passed out Northwestern pilot can fly better than me.
