I don't want Borderlands to start taking over this thread like MW2 did.
If Warhawk had its own subforum, none of this would be an issue.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I think we should just take over the Borderlands thread now that the fuss has settled down a bit.

I even thought about calling version 2 of this thread "Warhawk Tuesdays / PSN Community Thread", so the focus would be on Warhawk, but the Warhawk community (such as it is) would be free to hook up for other games within the thread.

What do you guys think? Probably time to start a new one anyway.

I'm for continuing this one until it's shut down. I want to see how long it takes.

Once that happens, your Part 2 sounds good.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Agreed.

Considering the fact that Borderlands is only 4-player co-op, I think we can probably tolerate discussing it in the meanwhile.

I don't really have any idea when I'll get Borderlands. I ordered it used from Hastings yesterday, and I'm not sure how good their online inventory system is.

Oh! Oh! I see how it is. The four of you can discuss Borderlands in here, but God forbid Digi, Nic, R2 and myself discuss Modern Warfare 2. I see how it is now, I see all too well.

I placed about 3 orders from them just over a week ago (1 game related, 2 BD). From the order placed Friday, half arrived on Monday and the other half Tuesday.

Between that and the fact you're in the same state all my orders came from, I think you'll be ready to go by Sunday.

Well, yeah.

I think you were actually better off starting a thread, as you'll cast a wider net and get more folks to play. CoD is a different animal.

I'm just looking to play some Borderlands with 3 of my Warhawk buddies...not really interested in recruiting more people.

What time are you guys thinking for Sunday? Since 3 of you are in for that night I can probably swing something.

It looks like you aren't required to have one of each class for 4 player co-op, but would it make more sense for balance?

chess = Mordecai/Hunter
flip = Lilith/Siren

We're left with Roland/Soldier and Brick/Tank.

digi, any preference on those two?

Well, maybe this Sunday and again 2 weeks after that aren't the best (NFC Championship followed by the Super Bowl).

How about trying a different night for a couple weeks and move to Sunday after football?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Somehow, I'm picturing Digi as a Tank.

Assuming we all have it in-hand, let's try to play this Sunday and then go with Chew's plan.

This Sunday is the NFC Championship game in Primetime.

Next Sunday is the Pro-Bowl. Nobody cares about that, so we can play then.

The following Sunday is the Super Bowl.

Got it. Somehow I had it in my head that the games would be the usual 12 and 3 start times. Also, I wish the AFC game was the late game. That one's gonna be ugly.

We'll firm up the day this week once we all have the game. Maybe during the AFC game if nobody cares about that one. I'm guessing the Colts are a 20 point favorite or so.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

What if we rotated games on Sundays? The ones I'd like to get more time with:

Borderlands (obviously)...4 player
Uncharted 2 (horde mode)...3 player, I think
Burnout Paradise (Freeburn Challenges)...up to 8 players

All coop...all great games. Chew, didn't you get Burnout when you bought Warhawk (back on page 1 or 2)? It's a terrific game to just mess around in.
