Yeah, you can just "Purchase" them. You can't get this week's exclusive freebies like Wild Arms and Patapon though since those actually have to be bought through the Vita itself.

And if you wanted to, any free PS Plus Vita game could be downloaded to your PS3 and sit there awaiting transfer to your Vita, but of course, you don't have to do that.

Apparently if you have a PSP and MediaGo installed, you can also download the games that way. But you either have to have a vita or psp.

So I'm wondering if this will stack with the March Get $10 For Every $50 Spent promotion?

It won't stack, because it's the same thing. They're just promoting Plus and letting you know about the current spend $50 get $10 deal.

It's not the same thing. Plus is $49.99, which is under the $50 threshold. So I'd say there's a good chance you'd get both, as long as you buy something else to get that extra penny.

This new credit is probably taking the place of the 3 extra months they were offering a few weeks ago.

I don't know if it applies this month, but last month Sony said they would spot you the extra penny.

I'm about 99% sure it's the same promotion. Here's the Playstation Blog advertising the spend $50 get $10 promotion:

You see how they're pushing PS+ with this deal. Same as that email you got. And you'll also notice the end date is the exact same for this deal and the one in your email.

The Playstation reps have already confirmed that spending $49.99 will get you $10 back.

I've been bitten before buying these Telltale Games at a PS+ discount only for them to be free a month or 2 later.

Labyrinth Legends looks fun, looking forward to trying it out. Guacamelee looks awesome, I would have jumped on a day 1 sale, but I think I will wait for a sale now too.

There will be a Spring Fever promotion starting tomorrow. There should be some sort of announcement later today and I'd expect some sort of a sale/promotion for Guacamelee associated with that.

Response to the third comment on the plus update on the blog says Guacamelee will have a plus discount, I may have to get this.

Waiting to the last minute to make a decision on Rainbow Moon on sale right now. Anyone want to throw their weight in yay or nay?

I liked Rainbow Moon, but I wish I had waited until it is ported to Vita. Seems like a better fit.

I used to be able to add a game to the cart and purchase it without downloading it but can't seem to do this anymore. It makes me download it right then.

It did change. For free PS Plus stuff, the main link is now "download", not "purchase", so you go right to the download instead of checking out first. If i don't want to download something right now, I have just been cancelling out of it as soon as it starts. I don't know if there's a better way, but it works.

I got a boner watching that.

Can't wait 'till I get home to download and play it.

You can always buy off the online store. The items will then show up on your download history.

So we'll be getting Guacamelee for $11.99 at launch. Good enough for me. Sold!

Sounds great, but it's also pretty short : Finished in 5 hours, 100% in 8 hours.
