Mine too, I think...and I sold it for what I paid for it...in anticipation of the GotY edition.

There's a code for Amazon 5OFFARKM that's good for $5 off any version of the game. That kind of made the decision for me since the PS3 regular version is now $42.69 with coupon and ECA discount while the LE version of the PS3 is $79.60 with the discounts. No way that plastic boomerang is worth $37 to me.

I'm torn between the 360 and the PS3 version. Is this offering any sort of multiplayer or graphical superiority that might sway me towards the 360?

I would assume smoother frame rate and graphics on 360, but the Joker map on PS3...

I'm guessing they'll both look the same and the challenge map will eventually make it to the 360 as DLC.

Eh, I went for PS3. Without a compelling reason to choose the 360, the Joker level wins it.

(Plus, I don't actually own a PS3).

I stopped achievement hunting a long time ago. Besides, most games now have trophies on the PS3.

Awesome. Just got a note from the PR company and I should be getting a copy for my own review purposes. Awesome. He even gave me the choice of console...in a twist, I went PS3 simply for the Joker.

How soon will you get it? Any early impressions would be much appreciated, as long as you don't violate any early review agreement you made.

I played the Ps3 demo today and I am not overly excited . It's not bad but the demo didn't wow me either the graphics were solid. I think that the one thing that sticks out for me is it's one of those games were you press the attack button and it sort of feels like you aren't in control of what's happening. But on a positive note when you do hit guys it looks real cool and when they zoom in on the hard punches it is sweet.

I just played the demo on the ps3 also, I really liked the detective work you do to find a way to take out criminals, and hide in shadows. It kind of almost feels like a Splinter Cell or MGS game in that respect. If you go in guns blazing you will get your ass handed to you. I agree the graphics really didn't wow me either. It is a Unreal Engine game and has the look of Stranglehold or the Punisher game on PSN with way better graphics of course. I think I'm sold and can't wait to pick it up.

Did you download the ps3 demo from the HK PSN store, or is it already up on the American store?

Funny, just yesterday I was thinking of this game and the phrase "Splinter Cell: Batman" popped into my head.

This is one of the things that worries me, after seeing some of the game videos. It looks cool and all, but not being in full control kind of sucks.

I had the chance to pre-order this for under $20 the other day, with cheap trade-ins at GameStop, but went for BlazBlue instead. I haven't opened it yet, so I can still exchange it for the Arkham Asylum pre-order, but I am thinking that AA will be at $30-$40 (in Canada) within 6 months (max), whereas BB is one of those games that will be hard to find very soon (it is already!).

The demo is already up for download on the American store.

Is it different than the combat demo that's been available in Game Stop for a while?

Liked the demo, but didn't realize it was such a stealth game. I will probably take a pass on this one for now as I rarely play stealth action games, but will get it down the road when it is cheap. The combat was great and I love the look and style of it. Bet it sells a ton.

Where is the demo? I looked in the Marketplace on the 360 in the Demo section under new release and saw nothing...

Sorry I figured you meant the 360, I had said earlier the one I played was the PS3 version. I will dl the 360 one tomorrow and try it again I am not down on the game but I am not as excited as I was either.

I was meaning the 360. I guess i assume everyone is talking about the 360 version of games unless it is jdpatri posting.
