In tight spaces, I found the flip over the top of the dudes to be particularly effective. that was always my go-to tactic when I got in trouble.

right near the end? i know you don't have to even face them, but i would like to and have tried a dozen or so times to no avail. thanks.
If you start the fight by line-launching along one row of thugs, you'll start out with half of them knocked down once already. That should help.

huh...never would have thought of that. but, i used some explosive gel, knocked like 8 off their feet for a bit in the beginning, then managed to take them all down with combos, counters and evades. of course, got my a** kicked by the battle next, but i will work through that.

Re: Batman - Arkham Asylum

I was really late to the party and just started this one two weeks ago and finished it yesterday. The best Batman game so far and one of the best next gen games in my mind. Even playing it after it’s been out for over two years it doesn’t really seem aged at all. Only finished it around 70% overall but don’t know if I’m going to go back to find the rest of the stuff. The only other (minor) complaint that I had that I didn’t see mentioned was I wish there was a better option for movement. Batman just moved a little too slow for my liking when he walked. And I didn’t want to run everywhere because I loved the environments. So other than that, loved the game, and I can’t wait to tackle Arkham City now.
