I burned Harold's ass down. His screams still haunt me. I got the Achievement but nothing else. I went back to an earlier save so I could actually complete the mission the right way.

Also, having not played any other Fallout games before, I totally missed the connection between this quest and the other games...

I finished the game today... sort of. Didn't realize I was at the end, although I guess I should have known
. I was only level 17, so going back to find some other quests and get some more achievements since it looks like there's a bunch of quest achievements that I didn't do.

Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
Well, I finished the game yesterday as a good character.
After that I went back to a previous save and completed the "Strictly Business" and "You Gotta Shoot 'Em In the Head" quests for achievements. Those just seemed too evil to do in my "real" game.
I ended up mainly using the Chinese Assault Rifle and Combat Shotgun primarily. Never used a mininuke until I was doing the two quick saves above. Those were cool, should have tried them earlier.
I also cleared the cache everytime I loaded the game (L/R Shoulder + X while loading and never had a problem with freeze-ups after that.
Really glad I grabbed this game. After getting bored and never finishing Morrwind or Oblivion I didn't think this game would be for me. Guess I just prefer guns over swords as this game never got boring.
As for the rest of the achievements:

As for the bobbleheads, yes you probably need a guide. The majority of bobbleheads aren't in places associated with main quests or side quests.

I'm down to the last bobblehead in Raven Rock. I think I'll get it, do the DLC, and then put this on the shelf until the next two packs come out. Then I'll probably start a new melee only character that is evil as hell.

Don't remember the quest, but you can get a lot of speech challenges at the hotel - telling folks to move out.

Ok so im having a bit of trouble. I escorted Dr. Li into the tunnel but somehow I got out without her coming along. Am I stuck? It doesn't seem like I can get into the manhole at the Jefferson Museum without Dr. Li's key. Is there another entrance?

Did you check to make sure she is not dead?

Ok when is the first DLC coming out ? I thought it was this week, but Major said next week. Destructoid.com has it listed as Feb 2nd.

No doubt! I went through the main quest and a handful of side quests my first play through with a whopping 0 bobbleheads found. My collector's stand in Megaton weeps.

Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
So I printed off a list of Bobblehead locations and decided to devote a few hours to collecting them all from a previous save in my game to get the achievement. Then I notice that there is one in Ravens Rock. Then I notice all my saves are from after Ravens Rock. Fuck.

yea, no fucking way you could find all those bobbleheads on your own. Luckily I looked thru the guide about halfway thru so i got the raven rock one before it blew up.

Re: The Fallout 3 Thread Of Exploding Teddy Bears
I decided shortly after I started I was going to use a guide to get most of the bobbleheads, then do the main quest...well, I ended up getting side-tracked so damn often that I was level 18 and about 70 hours in before I started the main quests.

I'm just glad there's no achievement for getting all of those books. there are just so many useless books around that you kinda give up looking if you don't need the money or experience...
