I tried to buy Borderlands and Uncharted at BB yesterday and they were completely sold out of Uncharted.

I dunno, I've spent about 30 minutes perusing and outside of a couple of pairings everything comes up to either $70 or over $90. They priced things well.

MS points is always the answer. ;)

Not a bad answer, sir. But I actually remembered that Lego Indiana Jones 2 is coming out on November 17th, so I ended up buying Uncharted and Uncharted 2, which came out to $81 and change.

Does anyone know if the deal allows you to buy two copies of one game instead of two different games? I need to get Uncharted 2 for myself and as a gift, but I'm not sure what third game to get yet. If I could just buy the two copies of Un2 now, that would give me more time to decide what other game to buy.

I'd hate to find out later that it didn't qualify.

It's not clear on it. The only thing is it says "two or more eligble items." I'm just wondering if it won't recognize two copies as two items (if they have to be different items). Maybe without two different UPC codes it won't work.

Well I finally decided to get Civilization Revolution for $26.99 to push my total up to $80.98.

Borderlands (360) - $53.99
Civ Rev (360) - $26.99

Total: $80.98

I'll return the Borderlands on my TRU receipt for $65.10 credit on the same credit card so I'm really only paying $15.88 for Civilization and a future $40 that I'll probably use on God of War Collection or Mass Effect 2.

Yeah, I ordered a game that's out of stock until November so hopefully that won't cause any issues. I took a screenshot of the deal just in case though.

Another thing that bugs me, or annoys to be more concise, is the people over at slickdeals talking about this promotion. I had a headache after reading part of that thread.

What surprises me is that the $40 is a coupon code, not automatically put into your account and applied to your next order like the odst one and some of the other recent videogame promos were.

It shipped Wednesday.

Then I ordered Forza 3 with the $40.00 off promo credit yesterday, it shipped last night and I received the Forza 3 $10 promo credit this morning.

Now I just have to wait until MW2 ships and get the $20.00 promo credit for that.

They say it's for a game purchase, so I assume it's games only. I wouldn't be surprised if hardware is excluded.
