Looks like the blu-ray will be $11 at Target after coupon.

Trying to remember what I got last year other than Orange Box, which I played a lot, and Lego Batman, which I haven't opened yet

The $5 of any blu-ray coupon that we've been talking about all over the bargain forums for days, and has enabled a bunch of us to get 40 different blu-rays for $4 or $5 each.

It should be noted that "Any" is not on the coupon and Transformers 2 is pictured on the coupon.

It says "$5 off Blu-ray disc purchase of $5 or more".

1) If if was just for Transformers, then it should say "$5 off purchase of Transformers Blu-ray"
2) It scans automatically. So as long as you can get the cashier to just scan the thing, then you're fine.

I've used the coupon 3 times and not had an issue yet. Once/if I do, I'll cancel the transaction, take the merchandise over to another register and have someone else ring me up.

And to follow-up/combine what many others have said in various threads:
  • It does scan and automatically deduct $5 on most blu-ray titles, even the ones that were $8.99.
  • Coupons historically have a picture of one title, even coupons meant for all titles.
  • If it was for Transformers 2 specifically, it would have been worded differently.

Yes, I agree that it is quite strange, and might have been a marketing/computer glitch of major proportions; but no one could look at the coupon and really think that it is for Transformers 2 only, the wording on it definitely implies any BD, even if the word 'any' isn't there.

Took a chance on the Go Play's Lumberjack game for the Wii (it's the VGDotD for 12/1... but it's not available anymore). For $10 I can be a pirate that participates in lumberjack games!

You can also be a ninja!!!!

Just to add, I was able to use 2 coupons to buy watchmen and Terminator (at the same time) . Not a problem or a peep from the cashier.

Is there any point in asking what this has to do with Amazon Video Game Deals?

Pretty much the entire last page is about the Target coupon. So, in a certain light, it totally fits.

It's been available on and off for a few days now. In the beginning you could get AC/DC free as well but that sold out.

Question about Amazon Promo Codes:

I have a $40 Promo Code that expires at the end of the year. I put that code onto my account so the credit will be used whenever I buy a 360/PS3/Wii game.

Do I have to use the credit by the end of the year or will it last forever since I applied the Promo Code to my account already?

IIRC, you can pre-order something for next year and then cancel the order later and still have the credit.

If he cancels it after the expiration date, he may not have the credit anymore. It really just depends on how amazon programmed it this time.
They usually give you a bit longer but they could kill it at any time after expiration.

I can't imagine a day in my life I would have trouble finding something to spend $40 on.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

It's not that I'm having trouble, nothing I want is on sale. I still have 3+ weeks for something I want to drop in price or have another promo attached. I still want to maximize my value, even with "free" money.
