My Wii's not collecting dust. I just got WarioLand Shake It for $20 on Barnesandnoble.com and have been enjoying it quite a bit. The challenges they have a tough and nails! If for nothing other than the precise, quick controls...I like it tons more than the new Mario.

I agree, but according to online rumor the 360 exclusive deal is thru 2010 and then we might see a Netflix channel. Either way as a current Netflix subscriber and a Wii owner Im happy to have a free disc to enable movie streaming!

I hate to be a hater but I think I might give up on the WII. There are some games coming out that I would like that are pretty big like monster hunter and capcom vs tatsunoko. Or maybe I'll do the same as I did with dreamcast and box it up and bring it out once year when I get that itch. I'm just not sure if I have a itch anymore. Now that I really really think about it, it might just be because I been spending a lot of time on the PS3 and PC. Maybe when those games dry up I'll get back to the WII.

Wii Classic Controller Pro Coming To U.S. With 'Monster Hunter Tri'
"Monster Hunter Tri" may be ditching friend codes on the Wii, but it will be gaining new controller in North America. The game, which hits the U.S. in April, will come bundled with a black beauty previously only available in Japan called the Classic Controller Pro.
"'Monster Hunter Tri' has made a huge splash in the Japanese market, and we’re confident the bundle with the Classic Controller Pro will give fans in North America plenty to get excited about," Nintendo of America’s vice president of licensing Steve Singer said in a press release. "Gamers of all kinds enjoy playing games on Wii. 'Monster Hunter Tri' delivers an incredible new experience on Wii, while the Classic Controller Pro gives players even more control options for their favorite Wii games."
Attentive Wii news followers may enjoy that line that Singer slipped in about "all kinds" of gamers using the Wii. It's almost certainly an attempt to stay on message after Capcom's director general in France, Antoine Seux, downplayed the Wii's role in Capcom's future. Capcom immediately began distancing themselves from the projection, and this looks like genuine gesture to show their support for the console.
Capcom's press release said the controller will be compatible with "more than 450 Wii, WiiWare and Virtual Console games," and though it will also be sold separately in both black and white editions, purchasing the bundle effectively knocks $10 off of its price.

Except that it still has that retarded octagon plastic around the analogs, and it is still not wireless. Oh and the little thing about them not actually supporting it with new releases like Mario and ExciteBike.

I like it as well. I was in the need of a classic controller. It definitely looks superior to the regular classic, so I'll hold off for that.

My son informed me that the "A" button on our current Classic Controller stopped working yesterday. Maybe I'll have to see if we can hold out long enough for the new one to come 'round.

I wonder if it will have more heft? The lightness and the cord out of the bottom are the two things I don't like about the original classic.

I'm catching up on some GC games I never played (since I didn't have a GC) now that we've got a Wii, and I'm wondering which size memory card I should pick up. I doubt I'll play any more than abt 10 or so GC games, so would the 251 blocks card be enough? It seems like it would be, but I don't want to be having to buy another soon if it's not.

You may end up doing some save shuffling depending on what you play. Animal Crossing, for example, will take an entire memory card. Just be sure to go with the standard Nintendo brand one.
