So I finally couldn't hold off any longer and I bought the game last night. I don't know why I waited so long. This game is amazing. I just got to
before I turned it off to get some sleep for work.
So now, I have Metroid Prime 3 and Bioshock to juggle time between. Fun time to be a gamer.

Fortunately, it looks like I'm at the peak of my guitar playing skill and can advance no further on GHII. That's one game down. I'm also close to the end of Bioshock, which will be another off the list.

Ok I finally beat this game. To be honest it was starting to get tedius because to be honest,
I beat this on 'good' mode, saving every little sister I encountered. Now, how far back would I have to go (I have saves on every level) to try out an alternate ending? any tips?

And as a side note, I have experienced choppiness/slowdown a few times... but it is always when I have the camera equipped and a Big Daddy is in the room.

I get some slowdown EVERYtime I HARVEST a little girl. It sounds like my XBOX is working OT to get the process done. Glad I am almost done....I could care less about going back and getting whatever I missed....as I said, only a rental. I believe I got most of the little girls and whatnot....I did a lot of exploring except on my last level I played....I started to get annoyed actually.

Ok, I finished last night....what a let down, although maybe it was because I harvested all those little whores running around
Glad I rented the game only....probably only got half of the achievements, but that is not a big deal to me.

I'm about 2/3 of the way through my third playthrough, this time on the hard setting. This is actually the most fun setting, in my opinion, and usually I just find the hard settings frustrating. The Big Daddy fights actually become a bit more fun, as you have to employ more strategy... you can't get away with a few rounds of electric buck and using a few first aid kits in a head-on battle like you could in the easier settings. Plus there's actually an element of ammo/health/EVE conservation here, as I'm actually running low at times, whereas on the easier settings I was constantly abandoning those items because I was maxed out.
One thing I find odd about this game... the character models. The graphics are beautiful in this game, but the character models seem off for some reason. Big Daddy looks fine, and the unique look works well for the splicers and little sisters. But the human characters have a weird look to them that doesn't match the look they have on their radio photos. The men look like mannequins, and the women especially have an ugliness to them that's just weird considering how spot-on the rest of the graphics are.

My game started this freeze/lag thing where every 3-4 seconds everything would stop, then when it moved again it was ahead of where it should be. It's kinda like Halo 2 when it lags. I reloaded the game and it did the same thing. Turned the console off & on, same thing. Loaded a game from a different profile, same thing. Erased one of the profile saves and restarted the game, same thing. I'm done playing it.

Found it:
Bioshock Game Cache:
Hold down LB+RB right as the game begins to load and let go as soon as the 2K logo pops up.
Xbox 360 System Cache: (WARNING: This clears all the patches for every game on your system. You'll have to DL them again. Only do this if you currently have XBL.)
To perform the function, access 'memory' in the system blade, and then highlight the hard drive. Now press: Y, X, X, LB, RB, X, X. The following message should appear: "Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?"

Awesome guys, thanks. I saw this in a thread before and, though I didn't have any problems, I did it anyhow. I was looking around for the combo but couldn't find it, so thanks again.
Also, why does this happen? Does it happen to everyone (eventually)? I understand the cache needs cleaned out, but my buddy has played probably as much as I have on his Box and he's never had a problem.

I got an update for this game last night. Does anyone know what it was for?
#400
I looked around on the Xbox.com forums, and Cult of Rapture forums there doesn't seem to be any official word on what it was for. Although some people in both places are complaining that the patch now makes the game stutter and pause? I played for about an hour 1/2 after the update and had no problems.
