I don't get the version with the disc, partially because there isn't that much exclusive content but these are nice to have. I like their current contest for people to design their own gamer pics. They'll put the best ones in an upcoming issue. I might buy a copy of that disc off ebay if the pics are cool...

Did anyone else get Bomberman yet? I've barely tried it yet, but it looks like the developers have done everything right. This has the makings of a Live mainstay like no XBLA game since Uno.

Yeah, i like getting the disc for some of the japanese demos. I liked demoing Phantom Dust and Tenchu early.

I picked up Bomberman today and have loved it. Several modes to play, several arenas, lots of unlockable costumes (from an achievement i think about 60 pieces), it even has the ability to set up an onine tournament as opposed to just matches. I am digging on it hardcore. I do wish the perspective was a little more straight over head though.

Damn I wish I could get into that game :/

Just gave Bomberman a quick spin on my lunch break. I see it being great as long as people are playing on Live. I already spent $8 on the TG-16 version on the VC so I'm covered offline. I might wait and see how many pick it up.

XBLA Bomberman increases my desire for a 360. I wonder when I'll finally give in?

I picked up Bomberman this morning and played it for a bit. Seems like a great choice for fans of the older games in the series. I'm looking forward to playing it with other people on Live.

I wish i could figure out how you get the costumes. Sometimes a little ball or diamond appears on the board and if you get it it unlocks one piece for you. They aren't unlocking in order and i can't figure out what triggers the spawn of the piece.


I must, absolutely must, unlock the bee costume for my bomberman.

One more feature i love them for. If you are playing against bots and you die you have the option of hitting the A button to skip to the end of the match. No sitting there watching the computer play itself. <3

Personally, I thought the three years for RROD was good enough.

I'm seriously debating. With the rumor of 65nm chips coming, I think why not just wait a bit longer. Plus there's the rumored $100 price cut on 8/1, but I could get that PMed at CC anyway if it happens. But I'd want to do it this week to get the free week of live for sure. Decisions...

I squashed waiting on the 65nm under the assumption that when I get RROD, it'll probably be replaced with one. Maybe not.. but ultimately waiting for those was under the assumption that it'd end the RROD, right? On the price drop, they're probably only going to drop it by $50 and that's exactly the value you're getting out of the year of Live Gold.

Who knows. Still waiting for the coffin. I'll keep you informed on my expedited promise.
