Judging by the look of the soldiers, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Tom Clancy's End War.

Judging by the giant mech, I'd say that it's something other than a Clancy game.

Looks like ETQW to me.

End War takes place in the future. A more distant future than Ghost Recon.

Yeah, EndWar takes place 20-30 years in the future and is set during World War III. I still have a hard time believing they would use mechs in a Tom Clancy game. Tom Clancy games have always been grounded in realism and mechs are just a little too far fetched.



Yeah, and the mech should be stop-motion.

Those look like mutated cyborgs on the bottom so it made me think of the Area 51 game.

According to one of the Developers at E3, it will apparently be heading to Xbox 360 and PS3 eventually. That was the first I had heard of that.

With cute pastel colors. Then add Mushrooms and monster flowers to the battlefield.


I'm just having fun. Obviously the graphics on that game are killer.

I have to say that I'm enjoying Project Slypheed. It's not a shmup like the previous games but more like Ace Combat. The characters and story are HIGHLY reminiscent of Robotech. I might keep it as the place I rented it from deducts the rental if you decide to buy it. Although I think I might need to restart on easy mode as I am just NOT familiar with this style of game and get lost easily!

Is there a site that has previews of the gamer pictures and themes? xbox.com doesn't have all of them.

mygamercard.net has most of the gamertag pictures, as long as they're related to a game. Therefore, it wouldn't have all the crap by DZN or whatnot in there.

Thank you! I could access the theme site at work but not the gamer picture one. I actually liked a couple of the Team DZN themes so that's too bad they're not shown for the icons page. I'm guessing I'd be late to the party in saying how stupid it is to have to pay for these and not even get to see what they look like.

No you wouldn't... I haven't heard that complaint yet. A few grumblings about have to pay for themes in general, but that's about it.

I'm ticked that there is no way for an individual to create their own theme.

For those who will chime in with "yes you can": No you can't. Using an image as a background is NOT the same as creating a theme. They are 2 different things... the greatest difference being that a theme can have a different image for each blade.

It's been a fairly common complaint since they launched the system. I think most have either,

a. given up on hoping for that feature in a dash update and resign themselves to the websites
b. realized what a waste of money they are and don't care anymore
c. use the vision cam to make their own
d. all of the above

The themes are a big waste of money as most, design-wise, are artistically abhorrent. However, I wouldn't mind paying a couple of bucks for a nice icon pack. Still, most of those are sloppily thrown together too. It'd be awesome if you could make your own icon on the PC and send it to the Xbox.

That's what the camera is for. Well the only thing I've used it for. Make your icon, print it out, and snap a photo with the camera. Then you can set it as your icon. Only people on your friends list can see it though. Random people see your default, MS icon. Definitely a round-about way but it works.

I've only bought one picture pack, a collegiate one for my team during the season, and that was before I got the camera.

I have only bought 2 picture packs, but download all the free ones.

I bought a Halo 3 picture pack and an anime picture pack for Gunslinger Girl.

My current public picture is from the free Shark Week pack. My picture my friends see was taken of my dalmatian with the camera.

i got the free Gears of War theme dealy when they were doing that advert for the discovery channel.

I bought one of the Penny Arcade picture packs and that's what I use for my username. I don't even like WoW but I haven't seen anyone else with my picture.

I'm a sucker. I bought 2 themes - both of pseudo-pinup art which i collect (well i collect classic pinup art).

I have also bought a few picture packs because the 80 points don't seem like much when i like the images. I bought one for Fight Night, Lord of the Rings, and one of some pinup art. Currently i have been using the pinup art for a gamerpic.

I do also download every single free theme and pic. I also get some from my OXM subscription.
