Free game maybe. But I don't consider it a "free repair" if it's a faulty product of a flawed design during the warranty period.

Hmmm, I would like a free Viva Pinata. They promised me "Expedited Service", and I have not received it. I've tried complaining, but the lady that calls me every two days (starting to get annoying) is not budging. I cannot believe MS pays people just to call me to say...."No new updates", and these are "REAL" people, not a recording.

I've been getting the dirty disc error lately and considered calling to get it replaced before Bioshock and Halo hit but from your guys stories, I think I will stick it out and hope the repairs slow down in the next couple months and that my problem doesn't get worse.

I would assume you have an extended warranty (as they extended warranty via Microsoft ONLY cover the Red Rings). Sucks about DDE, my 360 was good about those, just not the red rings I wonder how my new one will react.

It's a completely open ended game, similar to crackdown, but in this variant, you are a super-human-esque being that ingests his prey and grows exponentially. You can disguise yourself like t1000 in T2, where you can disguise yourself as anyone you've killed as well as gain knowledge from them.

Apparently NYC is over-run by a plague like virus that is mutating the city. Army is called in to "control" the issue. You take up a role as one of these mutated people. The abilities seem similar to the Darkness, like using remote tendrils to impale enemies.

They show a sequential-screen shot showing the protagonist jumping on the side of a helicopter, enveloping the pilot, then suddenly having the knowledge to fly the air craft.

I supppose its like the bad guy from Matrix.

Anyone else DL Wing Commander yet? I think it's kind of weird flying around in space in a 2-D flat plane. It feels artificial; maybe I'll get used to it. It's such a short single player demo that I'm not sure I actually want to buy it. With the half priced point cards next week, I'll probably get it anyway. It looks amazing for an XBLA game -- really crisp graphics but I'm just not sure about the handling, it feels more like a hockey game with guns than a flying one.

i could never get into that game when my brother had it for SNES
