Yep, COD2 Veteran was one of the most frustrating gaming experiences I've had. The last part of Comrade Sniper *shudder*. You certainly earn those 1000 points.

Yea, I have my last Praxis test tommorow and then I'm going to drive like a madman to pick this up! So frustrating how I schedule things knowing something I want is being released that day!

What's the better version of this game to get 360 or PS3?

After doing further research, the only review to say this was a French review, from some half-assed site.

Planet Xbox put up their review today for about half and hour before they pulled it down, due to non-disclosure agreements - it should go back up later today, but it was enough to leak this bit of info:

SP campaign was 8 hours on easy, 10 on medium, and really hard on vet

That sounds just about perfect to me.

How did you get the game already? I went to Circuit City today and they won't release it until tomorrow.

Going to cc tomorrow to get CoD4, CoD3, and a $10 gift card (thanks to the burger king coupon) for 59.99 and tax. Pretty damn good deal if I do say so myself.

Some Gamestop/EB's were offering the game early for people who pre-ordered. I picked mine up this afternoon.

I'm in as well on this game even though I haven't had the time to join much Halo3 and just finished Bioshock about a week or so ago. I'll just have to find time for this and finish the rec room as well.

I'm only on the 2nd level, and already this game is pretty fucking amazing - it's really intense and a very impressive piece of software.

I'll have my copy on Thursday.

I'm on the third level now and the game does not disappoint in any way. I also played some multiplayer (Free-for-All) and Bog and Countdown are two of my favorite maps so far.

I'm anxious to see the new multiplayer maps. I was getting kinda tired of the 4 on the beta.
This pisses me off that this has finally come out, and my 360 is in the shop. Dang it.

I'm on the 4th mission now (though still on the first "Act" of three, so I don't think it'll be too short), and I had to take a break to calm my nerves just because it got so intense. I haven't even touched the multi-player yet. This game may be just a run-and-gun FPS, but holy shit if it isn't the most impressive one I've ever played.

Nosmo, sorry about that. But the new maps will not disappoint (had a great time in the Downpour and Ambush maps as well). I'm glad that we didn't get to play any maps from the beta.

I will be picking mine up tomorrow night (hopefully), but I just got back from my honeymoon and I have a gajillion hours of TV to watch. Probably won't be on until late in the week or weekend.
