I am not sure if this has been discussed, so please let me know if it has.
After owning my 360 for some time, I tried a regular Xbox game in it for the first time. First up was "Thief 3." While playing the training level again, I noticed the lights (torches, candles, etc.) could be seen through walls, and did not remember this graphical glitch when I played on the Xbox. I put it back in the Xbox, started a new game, and sure enough, no glitch.
So, does anyone know if there is a site that documents what backwards compatitable games have glitches on the 360? I'd like to not waste my time if the game does not display/play right on the 360.
I also noticed that on the 360, the game is naturally brighter, whereas on the Xbox, it is much darker. Anyone else notice this, or notice something similar with another game? Is this another glitch, or does the 360 hardware function like this with other Xbox games?

No, your gamerscore is the number of achivement points you gain from playing games.
The Marketplace points are shown when you go into the market place.
From the dashboard, go into the marketplace. The last option is "Buy points, or redeem"
In there, is an option to enter in the code you were emailed.
Once you do that, it will show your marketplace(Microsoft Points) balance.

You can either buy them right from the market place in the 360 dashboard.Or, you can buy a card from a retail store/online store that gives you a code you enter in similar to when you buy a live subscription card.

The LIVE Kit has 200 points included
You can win them (Verizon had the giveaway...500 points)
Or you can buy them through the Marketplace (not sure what amount is offered as I had cards cheap via CC during a price mistake)

There are 4 amounts you can buy straight from the marketplace. Twice i have bought the package that is 1000 points for 12.50$ They also sell 2000 and 5000 for essentially the same price. I believe it breaks down to 80 points for a buck. This is how they are doing some expansions (pay to download instead of buying a disc in store) and how they are selling the arcade games. Uno = good.

I'll have to try that when I get home tonight! Thanks!

Wish I had discovered Parter Uno mode earlier. Way better than Standard Mode.Question: How the hell do you respond to in game prompts like game and new friend invites? Is there a button to press to respond to the popup? Pressing the big X button brings me to the music selection screen. Do I have to exit out to the Dashboard to respond?

If you press the big x button while the popup is on the screen, it should take you right to the person's profile that sent the friend invite or game invite. If you wait until the popup is gone, it takes you to the mini dashboard where you can see your gamercard and change music.

I had to figure out back in november when I got my system. Took me a few times to place that you have to press the guide(big x) button when the message is on the screen.
