That's exactly what blows.. You know guys here are going to buy them, which in turn, makes us have to buy them if we want to play.

If not, I'd hear.. "Oh, Tbird doesn't have that map, cheap bastard, so we can't play that one.." OR most likely I'd hear. "Tbird doesn't have that map, cheap bastard, screw him.. Let's play!"

I will be buying them and also making fun of Martin and/or Tbird whether they buy the maps or not.

I believe there's a way to tell your system not to auto sign into xbox live. You either have to fool with personal settings or system settings I think.

But that's just it. You sign in when you play single player so there's no problem. But if you don't sign in, your games don't get saved and you don't register achievements.

You need to be signed into a profile, whether or not you're on Live.

That would only be possible if you actually played COD.. Lately you've been too occupied with Oblivion and DW5 (WTH!?)..

What's the matter Colonel Sanders.... Chicken??

Yes, you can opt to NOT Auto-Sign in. I think if you hit the XBOX Guide button there is a setting in there. I had mine the opposite for a while.

I know I played my 360 offline for almost a month, since I had a defective 360 and had to wait for my coffin. Basically, MS screwed up....long story, posted somewhere else.

I see, breaking out the princess comments now. Talk about the gloves coming off

No, i have (and still do) have a guest staying with me and since none of the games let me join online with a guest like Halo did i obviously am playing offline games. I rented DW5 and while not a great game is a fun hack and slash with a touch of strategy that has kept both he and an i occupied. No worries though, i'll be back online gunning for you guys near the end of the week.

I was hoping to check out Lost Planet this week but with no 360 that won't be possible. I'm afraid of what negative things my 360 blog is going to say since I will be w/o my console for a few weeks.

Here is a good one from my 360 blog the other day:

I'm still baffled by Uno. Of all the potential games out there they had to go with one with the least amount of strategy or even decision making.

I keep hoping we see something like Cosmic Encounter on Live. They already have a version you can subscribe to and play online so they could take that, throw it on Live, sell you alien races as expansions and have free play otherwise and it would be awesome.

check out the online game at: www.cosmicencounter.com

The lack of demos does kind of suck, but it's better than nothing.

Hopefully MS and the devs get the message that we want much more next year.

I hope there's more that they just aren't saying. It doesn't even say they have a trailer for Splinter Cell or Sonic. At least give us trailers for that.

In the trailers it does say "and many more" so I think they just want to keep some stuff under wraps.
