Pretty good show, maybe best this season. It's too bad that the only character not making progress is the main one, Carrie. Heck, even Samantha is in a stable relationship, and appears to be enjoying it. Miranda is getting herself together and of course Charlotte gets the man she wants.

I see a triple wedding in the finale Sam/Smith, Miranda/Steve, Char/Harry with Carrie ending up as the crazy old shoe lady that lives at the end of the block!

I was wondering about this myself - not about the 55 hours, but whether she was a partner or not.

And it was that face that gave me nightmares last night. That kid looks like a combination of a baby Danny Bonaduce, Chuckie (from "Child's Play") and Mason Reese (child commercial star from the 70's). Woof!

That was one UGLY baby! It reminded me of that Scrubs episode in which his baby has his head on it and he's yelling at JD.

Agreed, great episode. Charlotte's crying was great acting, and the proposal was very touching. No tears from me though, just a "wow, that's soooooo cool!"

Berger sucks. Period. His character has such a big ego, even though he tries to play it cool and down to earth. Carrie needs to get back to Big! A great ending for Carrie is to have her leave on a train ride to California to see what will happen with Big.

Anyhow...Miranda has always been my favorite character though. She works a bit too much, no? As someone said, "cutting back" to 55 hours?? WTF!

Baby Brady = FUGLY!!!!

Yeah, the proposal really got me too. I was all verklempt.

Good riddance to Berger. That tortured writer crap was ticking me off.

Honk!

I really liked that Charlotte and Harry broke up and she still stayed with her new religion. Now they both know that she's commited to Judism and it's not just to impress him. I'm really suprised how much this storyline has touched me. They're very sweet together, even if their break-up was abrupt and hard to believe.

Great episode.

It really does look like they are going to have all of the ladies paired off by the end.

Great episode this week. I, for one, liked all four storylines. I thought for a second that Carrie and Berger could make it work. The final shot where Carrie smashes the flower vase...wow!

Charlotte and Harry's scene was the most touching scene I think I've ever seen in this show.

I certainly hope all are not paired off at the end. That would be the LEAST believable or realistic ending possible.

How many episodes left?

Agreed. After the way she treated Aidan TWICE, I did not feel sorry for her at all.

This is episode 6 for season 6 (episode #80). I believe this extra long season is going to have 20 episodes (normal 12 plus 8 extra to be shown in January). So we're only halfway through the first part - a LOT can still happen!

I doubt they will all four get hitched. Carrie will probably not get married IMO.

Yeah, let's call Ripley's. Do we really need to see that anymore? I've seen her tits more than Madonna's.

The scaling back to 55 hours a week was typical SITC agenda pushing. It was a sweetheart card to all the guilt ridden working mothers watching. (Hey I no longer feel bad about being forced to work away from my children because I only work 50hrs a week, and Miranda works 55 and her baby is happy now!)

Plus single straight guys are losers...families suck...drunkeness and random sex are 'hip'...boys are stupid and smelly and girls are made of sugar and spice...blah...blah...blah.

Great to see Berger leaving. He was very annoying towards the end. It was good to see Big back as well. Good for Charlotte too.

One thing I hate about SATC is that they announce the guest stars at the beginning of the show. Many shows do this, but if it is a returning character that hasn't been around for a while, it takes away the suprise (like last night with Harry and Big). It used to piss me off when they would announce David Boreanz at the beginnnig of a Buffy when he would come back for a guest spot as well...

They didn't do it (the opening credits) when Aidan showed up the street when Carried bumped in him (first episode this season IIRC), so when it happened, that was really a big surprise!

I think Carrie will end up moving to the West Coast to be with Mr. Big... and he looks like he is getting big!

Would make good sense to end the show..and if rumors of Kim Cattrell getting a spin-off are true....
