one other comment/question...
Did anybody else think Charlotte's wedding seemed a but, quick? I as figuring on a long engagement, a lot of stuff leading up to the wedding.

I am hoping Charlotte & Harry stick together through the end of the show. Maybe there will be a sub-plot about them adopting a child; that would probably be good fodder for some funny stuff.

costanza187 & jpcamb - In terms of the quicky wedding
Also I want to say that there has been no specific amount of time that has been passing between episodes. I mean Smith just got the Van Sant movie deal in Episode 80 and by Episode 82 he is off to film the movie. I would wager a lot of time has passed between those episodes (maybe two months?).
It is always hard to tell passage of time on this show. Remember Miranda gets pregnant in Episode 59 (Coulda, Would, Shoulda - Season 4) and has the baby 7 episodes later (Episode 66 - I Heart NY). I have noticed they deliberately stray away from mentioning specific holidays, etc probably because it is so hard to shoot on location seasonally in NYC.

Is it just me or does it look like they've got a different baby on the show? Brady didn't look too much like Chucky on this week's episode. I actually didn't have to cover my eyes (or cover my clocks).

I thought the show was hilarious this week. I noticed as the credits rolled that I litterally had tears of laughter in my eyes. I don't know if that has ever happened to me before. great show leaving an a truly high note. This season's been pretty remarkable.
My favorite line : "Love means never having to say.....You used me for SEX!!!!"

wow, i'm surprised to see all the high praise here.....there were certainly some chuckles this week, but nothing anywhere near previous season's episodes. My fiance has complained that this season has been pretty lackluster and just kind of tired and redundant, and after watching sunday i have to agree with her....
Howie's Jackrabbit aside, it was very blah i thought.
And I guess I've missed Ron Liningston's Episodes? I remember seeing him in an ad and thought he was going to be a main character this year.....

Obviously you don't have much affinity for the show if you've already missed so much of this season. In my opinion, season 6 has been pulling out all the stops to MUCH success. There has been nary a dud episode so far. KEEP UP THE PACE FOLKS!!!!

. That's awful!!
I can't believe Carrie was able to walk the next day after Howie's back-breaking "mating" thingy. She should have been paralyzed!!

Great episode all around. Well written and acted. I really enjoyed Tatum O'Neal and Blair Underwood. However, spotted two predictable scenes before they happened. The fate of Carrie's shoes once she took them off. And once the words "tea bags" were mentioned, who would respond first. The latter is getting really old. But hey, there aren't that many episodes left so.....
Speaking of Carrie's shoes. Worst pun of the night: "Later when I went for dessert, I talked about how my shoes deserted me". Or something along those lines. Ugh.

Good episode though $485 for shoes? Not in my world though I wouldn't look down on anyone else about it. Isn't Carrie supposed to be paying Charlotte back for her apt? But I guess that's not the point. Love Blair Underwood and hopes he sticks around (he might be the only reason I wouldn't want Miranda and Steve to get back together).
Hey in last week's thread someone mentioned that Brady didn't look like satan spawn anymore and this episode might prove it. The kid not only looked human but kinda cute.

That was me. And I don't know, thought the baby last night was a little scary looking (again). I'm guessing they are using twins like most TV shows and this is the uglier of the two babies.

The "Mimi and Jules" parallel on display for Mr. Leaves and Miranda was nervously uncomfortable, but probably a portent of things to come. Gotta love how Miranda went into flirt mode from the get-go.
Both sides of the annoyance issue for Sam's subplot were aired, and Sam was the one leaving wearing green pasta.
The breeders do seem to have a few more rights than singles (a la the Carrie subplot with all that gift-giving that is "expected" from friends.) At least Cara got the hint when Carrie turned the tables on her in the end.
I was just as grossed out as Charlotte was when her new hubby was sitting on all that white fabric-covered seating in the apartment au naturel. Ewww... put some pants on, dude!

O.K. did anyone else check BBCAmerica to see if there is such a show called "Mimi and Jules"? I did. And couldn't find it. I know, loser (me)

And yes Patman, not only was the guy walking around naked skeeving me out, but sitting on the white furniture was especially gross.

Well now we know Harry is still hairy. Ah the pun of this show.
One of the better episodes of the season. Its funny to see a former Carrie sham Carrie for he shoe shopping. I can't imagine trying to justify either end of that conversation; pay me 485 for the shoes that were stolen cause you made me take them off vs no I won't (even though I used to wear them and know they go for that.) I just don't live in that world.
I was suprised to see Miranda so forward at the meeting but that story line semi went into clieche before the end of the show.
I just can't wait for charolette to blow it with Harry, she is going to melt down before the show finishes off. He's such a loveable screwu, I feel for his pain that is sure to come.

I dunno, I think if I were Harry I could deal with being whipped
At least long enough to make it to the end of the season! All I could think was it took some courage to be prancing around naked in front of her for so many scenes.
I thought this episodes made some good points, but I didn't find it all that funny. I wouldn't be able to stand these people in real life. That was a baby's birthday party? I don't know why anybody would be dressing up for that in the first place. Then it bugged me even more that Carrie wouldn't yell at her "friend" after her $485 shoes were obviously stolen.

Amen, Carrie! The first time I have applauded her actions in years! I am so sick of this mentality that if you are not married with children by age 30, you have no life or that you are unsuccessful. F that. I think there is a lot of snobbery from the married and parents. I also can't stand people who bring their children to places where they do not belong. A kid like that is far more annoying than someone talking (at a normal volume) on cell phone at the next table.
