Glad I jumped on this one. I've been looking for an affordable way to fill in the gaps in my Farscape collection. This was the ticket.

Class act, DDD!

I always receive 1 email confirming my order . A short while later (usually the same day) I receive another email this time with my order number. When each item ships I receive a shipping email. Total of 3 emails for each order.

Yea DDD

It's been 24 hours since I placed my order and still no e-mail confirmation or online status entry....I guess there's no reason to keep hope alive.

I tried ordering Volumes 3 & 4 of Futurama from DDD today, but neither of the codes were working. Since other people were confused as to where to put the codes, I tried advancing one page - and mistakenly put in my order, full price.

I called up DDD and explained the situation, and they told me to call back with the order number and they would cancel it. About an hour later the order number showed, I called them and sure 'nuff they cancelled it. Rather good customer service there.

Congrats to all the folks who got in on this order; I'll just have to console myself with Babylon 5 Seasons 4 & 5 for $100 total, which came in this week.

My order shipped out today from the DDD sale.

Great job by DDD for honoring the existing orders. Will keep on doing business with them as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks to all regarding the email thing. I've never received email #1 but always get #2 and #3... strange why a few of us only get 2.

Ohwell... it all works out the same... nice shiney new discs in our hands

I followed the advice in the other thread and had split my order into a pre-order buy and a current DVD buy. I put in the preorder stuff last night but was still thinking about the current DVDs while fighting the site and decided to finish tonight or this weekend . Oh well, I still got a great deal on 3 DVDs.

Thanks OP! A few cheap DVDs beats no cheap DVDs.

Ordered around 7 this morning, and the order went through. However, I still haven't recieved any confirmation emails...should I be worried, or is this fairly normal considering the amount of orders that they must have?

I ordered around 4 a.m. and didn't get a confirmation until late today. Just hang tight. As others have stated (the web site states), "It can take 24-48 hours to receive your second confirmation e-mail."

I held off until today, as others because I thought it would be a 2 weeker. I still think DDD would make a margin - possibly they could run a 15% code once in a while that would probably equal MIR's after their low cost. And I'll add DDD is my fav online shop and yes I tell anyone I can. I thought the code was legit - congrats to those who got in (not bItter). Of course I would have placed an order last night if my rotary phone dial-up was a wee bit faster:-)

OT: I wonder why d-drug was banned his last post(that I saw) wasn't bad (dancin banana) but I'm sure there's a reason (turn turn turn:-)

I got my second email stating what I have ordered and status on each DVD. Since my order consists of in stock titles and pre-order titles, I hope they split it up since I upgraded to the $4.95 shipping.

I wasn't going to trip on DDD if they cancelled my order due to the leak of the code, but I am actually surprised they were honoring the orders that used that code. They deserve a very big thumbs up from me.

I got two e-mails for confirmation of my order this morning. I saved over $30 on my order. DDD comes through again.

How many people's second email has the total given without any listing of the discount, i.e. the full price total? My first email showed the amount taken off with the 20% coupon, but the second didn't, and I want to be sure I'm not going to be charged full price.

My emails and the "order status" page all showed the full price, with the discount taken off the total price. I do believe my last email only showed the total, with no mention of the discount...but it was the same total as earlier (discounted total).

A huge to DDD for honoring the sale, though i wouldn't have felt burnt if they didnt, i do think it says something about how they do business.

I am so glad that I decided to make a quick order early this morning. I was going to wait until tonight to figure out everything I wanted. I went ahead and ordered 5 dvds this morning and was going to make a second order tonight. Oh well, I feel lucky I got one. I really did think it would last atleast a week.

I missed out, but I'm glad I did. I've been spending way too much on DVDs in recent weeks and that's not going to change until later in the summer. I was ready to place an order, but figured I'd better hold off. May be tough now, but I'll be glad later.

I'm still waiting on the second email with the order confirmation number in it. I got the initial email so hopefully it will come sometime today.

I placed my two orders around 10 AM Eastern time yesterday. I received the first e-mail, but no second e-mail with order numbers. Plus, my account is saying I have zero open orders? I also cancelled a STL order so I hope I don't get screwed.

I have also not received second confirmation.

Maybe it will take a little longer to get that for those who ordered in the morning?

Question: if we have that first email, doesn't that count for something?
