TV Spot was pulled for some reason, but a female Slimer?

Re: Ghostbusters (2016, D: Feig)

A new TV Spot titled “The Slimers” confirms a much debated rumor that began during pre-production – Slimer has a lady friend. We catch a short first look of the paranormal pair at the very end of the TV spot, laughing it up behind the wheel of a driving car. When first got a glimpse of the fan-favorite ghost there was no sign of a female version. While the original Slimer is returning, he brought along an identical girly ghost covered in too much makeup, what looks like to be a poofy blonde wig, and of course that signature mischievous grin.

Seems like the plot leak is looking more and more accurate now.

Re: Ghostbusters (2016, D: Feig)

The Reddit leak was confirmed the first time something was revealed post-leak and it's been confirmed time and time again.

The questionable thing is the fact that the movie's opponents seized on the opinion of some lowly effects artist as if it were gospel, and that's not hyperbole. The dude is worshipped on the Reddit board.

Never in the history of movies has anyone cared about the opinion of one of the hundreds of names that are buried in the end credits nor has anyone ever been naive enough to suggest that those people generally like the all movies they work on.

from the guy who seemingly grieved his wife's "unexpected" death for about 2 seconds on social media.

McCarthy was pretty believable as a Techie FBI type in Spy,and as bubbly sweet Chef on Gilmore Girls, 2 roles that are far different from the type of Big Loud personalities she stars in Post Bridesmaid. And in St. Vincent she played a dramatic part where she was very restrained and never over the top and trying to chew scenary.

What are you talking about? You must be thinking of someone else.

Is that how people are judged on their amount of grieving? By what they post on the internet? That's pretty pathetic.

Wasn't he arguing with trolls about the AVGN comments literally the day after she died? To me that's a pretty big indicator of how little impact her death had on him.

Re: Ghostbusters (2016, D: Feig)

He was completely silent on social media for 10 days or 2 weeks after her death, and even when he came back his tweets were sporadic and always about her for some time.

She also died the very day his Netflix special debuted and he completely ceased all promotion. He canceled all the standup appearances he had booked too.

The great thing about the Internet is that all of that can be verified before you accuse him of impropriety in regards to grieving because he liked Ghostbusters '16.

Edit: if you're curious his Rolfe tweet was on May 17 and his wife died on April 21. Hardly the next day.

It's one thing to not like this movie, but this is a pretty shitty thing to say about an actual person.

If I end up liking this movie, did I not care about my deceased grandma enough?

It takes a special kind of asshole to accuse anyone of not grieving to your satisfaction.

It just proves that even if you have an awesome avatar you can be a terrible person. Like objectively. Just the worst.
