Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons: The Movie (2020) — Entertaining movie featuring a character who has become a favorite of my over the past few years, which is why it's a shame there's not going to be a live action version played by Joe Manganiello, so all fans have are these animated movies. This one brought together the tangled history behind a character with some significant flaws and also retains his brutality, which earns this its R rating.
This was initially a web series (like Constantine: City of Angels and Vixen) so not sure if there will be a follow-up, and perhaps something to be made an animated film rather than compiled from animated shorts. But good voice casting with Michael Chiklis as Slade/Deathstroke. ***¾/*****

The Craft (1996)
Absolutely love the four leads (Balk, Tunney, Campbell, True) as well as how progressive the film feels, considering its release date.
I don't always enjoy where the plot goes nor the dated use of music in the film, which ruins many scenes.

Host (2020)
While you can see bits and pieces of other films within the Genre, the film still manages to bring quite a bit of relevancy, not only with its Pandemic-Era setting but its decision to take place entirely within a Zoom Meeting/Call.
It's a whole lot of fun and the cast & scares are very solid.
Also it doesn't overstay its welcome, only running about 57-minutes.

It was not as bad as the reviews but a movie that should have never been made.
Pena is better than this and I bet the fans of the original show hated the fact their favorite show became a horror comedy movie.

I have two copies one to collect and the other to watch.
Walken was such a bad ass in this movie. I wish Walken would do more movies.
Glad Madonna did not act in this movie or she would have ruined the movie.

Wow, didn't realize it was going for so much. I have a box full of Twilight Time Blus I was planning on selling, will make sure it's not in there.

2001: A Space Odyssey - I don't know. I get that it was ground-breaking and all that, and I really loved the first 15-20 minutes, but after that? I was pretty bored. Kubrick's films are weird. I enjoy watching them moreso for their filmmaking, but not so much for the stories. Don't get me wrong; I love The Killing (a classic film noir), and I love A Clockwork Orange and The Shining...and I even have a soft spot for Full Metal Jacket...But like many reviewers have said, I find his movies "cold." Like the characters often don't really matter; it's more the technique. Oh, I also love Lolita; I thought that was a great movie. But 2001? I don't know, I just kind of check out about midway through. It's interesting and worth a watch but I really don't care to watch it again...(and I've probably seen it four or five times)...
Shout out to At Close Range...that movie is amazing. I've watched it countless times and am still blown away every time I check it out. Especially love the scene where Penn and Masterson are in the cornfield. And the scene where all the kids are in the river just having fun. And Walken was amazing in that...

This is not usually in my wheelhouse but it was entertaining and Octavia Spencer, Kathy Bates, and Glen Close were in the cast which made it more respectable.

This was $4.99 in 4K with Dolby Vision via iTunes. I'd never seen the film before but I loved it. The ending was a bit too sappy, but who cares, everything else was cool. The DV 4K image quality was stunning for digital 4K.

Deep Blue Sea 3 (2020) — Better than the lame sequel and this one does have its moments, including the shark killing a character following a valiant speech, but many of the characters were, especially early on, a bit obnoxious being the cliched preachy environmentalist. In addition, performances weren't exactly the best either. However, there were some fun kills at least so it's probably worthy of a rental, though still a far cry from the first film. **½/*****

I wish they could do it without the narrator which was unnecessary and maybe the ending was kind of sappy but overall it was pretty good.
Jackie Earle Hailey nailed that role.

The Trip to Greece (2020) — Pretty much the same formula as the others and some may find it a bit too repetitive, however I find this "franchise" to be akin to comfort food, enjoying these characters and their friendship. The scenery like the previous films is beautiful. ***½/*****
Apparently these are comprised of scenes from a television series, really wish those would get a DVD release here in the States, wouldn't mind checking them out.

Jay Pharoah the former SNL star.
Katt Williams had some funny moments and had a little social message of people taking down comics on the internet.

Borrowed this from the streaming forum, but will get buried in Vudu thread. Fans of genre or even low budget, incredibly well made foreign films should really seek this out.
fucking fantastic! I haven’t been freaked out by a movie in a long time and this had me on edge the entire film. Simply fantastic. This is a must see sci-fi creature film that has not been done before. Must see!
