One of the few movies based on high school reunions that I found entertaining. Had to revisit after reading a few interesting facts on The Chive

In the Bedroom - 2.5/5

A young man on his way to college gets involved with an older single mother whose ex refuses to let her go. When tragedy ensues the young man's parents refuse to face the consequences of what happened by blaming each other for not intervening in their son's affair. Tries to come across as deep and artsy when in reality it's just the opposite. One of the most overrated films of 2001.

Holy Smoke - 3.5/5

While on a trip to India, a young Australian woman converts to Hinduism. The woman's family convinced that she's joined a cult, trick her into coming back to Australia and hire an American deprogrammer to make her "normal" again. Jane Campion's funny take on mind control and how we should always question everything.

Requiem for the American Dream - 4.5/5

Noam Chomsky explains how the US was created from its origins to benefit the rich and that is why today we have such a huge wealth gap. Eye opening and disturbing.

I remember watching that in the early 2000's on a weekday afternoon.

Winslet gets naked lol. Harvey Kietel was good in that.

Gravy

Awful. Why was Sarah Silverman in this movie?

Didn't one of the guys had a lot of dirty magazine photos in his bedroom? That is all I remember.

The Longest Ride

If Anyone cares Supergirl is in this movie.

Don't understand how Britt Robertson gets all these plum roles since she is a bad to mediocre actress.

The Last American Virgin...really a terrible movie, but that soundtrack (can't believe they got the licensing for all those songs, including U2) and the ending gets me everytime. i think it was the first movie that i ever saw that had an unhappy ending. true story.
