Life of A King on Showtime.

Maybe it was direct to video but it was pretty entertaining for a Tues night and Cuba did a good job.

Max on HBO

Super cheesy and terrible acting.

Squatters on the Sony Movie Channel. Did not understand the Matrix like special effects in what seemed like a drama but it was a ok movie.

Man of Steel...bit of a chore trying to get through this third time. Not too good as I rethink.

The Final Girls (2015)

Director Todd Strauss-Schulson and Writers Joshua Miller & M.A. Fortin were all in attendance. They did a great Q&A with Peaches Christ before the screening and stuck around until 2:30am to meet everyone.

It was awesome meeting Joshua Miller, as Near Dark (1987) is one of my all-time favorite Horror films

Saw 10 Cloverfield Lane yesterday afternoon. Brilliant! Just brilliant!

Then my kid Redboxed Fantastic Four... I slept through half of it but never lost the story and it still sucked. I think I need to watch the old ones just to cleanse my palette.

Quirky funny rom-com. My only complaint is the English accents which can make some dialogue tough to understand.

Last movie I will see with my dog by my side. She passed away last night. Enjoyed the movie but she was whimpering so we knew the end was near.

Aliens - 4.5/5

James Cameron's sequel to Ridley Scott's sci-fi/horror classic. An intense ride and one of the best sci-fi/action films ever made.

Spoiler:
As a big Jaws fan, I can say out of all the shark movies that have followed, I liked this one a lot. Yes, it's a quick Jaws/Castaway mash up, but it's a taut suspense film that clocked in at just under 90 mins and holds your interest. Whole thing takes place in the span of 30-36 hours.

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread

Sorry, Wrong Number - 3.5/5

A spoiled rich hypochondriac overhears a murder being plotted when her phone line gets crossed up with someone else's. A tense thriller that could have done without some of the unnecessary sub-plots and the overacting by Barbara Stanwyck.

The Revenant, depressing. Good movie, but my god, rough life. Fantastic cinematography 10/10. Movie was a 7/10 for me.
