Nice! I had the earlier Blu-ray edition and never felt the need to upgrade to the Criterion. I'll upgrade to 4k, though!

Who is going to double-dip and pray it isn’t the same waxy T2 4K master?

Any news on whether T2 is a remaster or not, because I have the current 4K version and it's easily the worst-looking 4K movie I own (but hey, it was $7 )

I never bought the current release due to reviews. Sure as hell gonna wait on this one. But I'll quickly grab it, once it seems to be okay. Love the movie.

Studio Canal said in that big thread it's the 2017 4K remaster that Cameron oversaw and approved.

Little annoyed this is getting released so shortly after the limited edition set last year. I would've waited if I knew this was in the pipeline. I think the only thing missing from that set in this is the terrible sequel & its bonus features.
