Went to my Best Buy last night and they had all four of the 9/12 Warners releases out early. They were all marked and rang up $18.99 each so I picked up Lethal Weapon 2 and Troy.

A lot of people are reporting the 9/12 discs out early. But a lot are reporting them not being out early, either. YMMV.

The Best Buy in Boston (Fenway) had all of the 9/12 releases out early as well, at the $18.98 price.

How are you guys getting HD-DVD's at Best Buy for only 18.99? My store has them all for 25.00 and even the website says 25.00.

Warner Brothers truly is among the best for DVD and HD DVD. Their transfers are almost always top notch, they only double dip when it's necessary (i.e. new treatment to older titles), and their prices are generally lower than other studios' prices. You rarely go wrong with them.

Amazon shipped my Red Dragon and Traffic, DVD Planet shipped my Seabiscuit, Amazon did not ship my LW2 or HOW, and CD Universe did not ship my Backdraft.
