Normally, I would agree that this isnt the place, but since Amazon hasnt been shipping their titles quickly, its nice to know. That said, we dont need everyone replying that theirs has shipped.

It seems like it's been fluctuating a lot the last week, but Ray is back down to 14.99 on Amazon.

Damn, just bought it yesterday at BB (with a $5 RZ certificate, though). Watched it last night, INCREDIBLE PQ & AQ!

Thanks for the "heads up". I have been hoping it would come back down in price since they jacked it up a few weeks ago. I'm going to pair it with Grand Prix to get free shipping. (Hurries off to place order.)

Yeah I jumped all over the 19.99 Seabiscuit. Almost purchased it when it was 26.99 from Amazon and then almost spent 27 at Best buy. Patience definitly does pay off sometimes. Ordered Traffic, Seabiscuit & Leathal Weapon 1 (was in my Amazon Gold Box and got an addition 1.50 off + 10% Off of 19.99) and of course went with the Amazon Super Saving Shipping Option. Total came out to be like 54 shipped for all 3 , not bad.

My 'trick' is to add all HD DVDs that I want to my shopping cart and save them for later. Every day I check my shopping cart and if an item has a price reduction, it will say it on top!

I ordered this title. Can't wait to see it: my wife's all-time favorite and one of mine favorites also. Amazing that I didn't order it yet (guess that has to do with the fact that I don't own a HD DVD player yet - I just ordered the A1 through Continental!)

I had planned to have Seabiscuit via Netflix for this weekend to watch (haven't seen it yet... just one of those films that slipped through the cracks). Instead, they shipped the #2 one on my list. D'oh!

I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer. I'm really looking forward to this, given the universally positive reviews about the picture quality.

From what I've heard, Amazon had The Thing up for a short while today as well. But it kept on going in and out of stock and I never was able to get one.

I got super lucky yesterday. I went to my local Comp USA to get my new Apple computer (WOO HOO!!!) and they had all of thier Blu Ray and HD-DVD titles on clearance. I guess they just arent going to carry them anymore, at least not this particular store. Everything was 13.99 and I picked up

Good Night & Good Luck
Perfect Storm
Phantom of the Opera (which was only 10.99 which I thought was odd)
Lethal Weapon

and finally, and this one is the kicker

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang for only 13.99.

Anyways if you guys have a Comp USA by you I would check it out, maybe its a local store thing and maybe not. Its worth a look.

Total came out to be 70.97 with tax. Not bad for 5 HD-DVD's including Good Night and Kiss Kiss.

Always nice to see a fellow Apple maniac. Well I was going to purchase a new tower from Comp USA but they didnt have the one in stock I was after so I just stopped by the local Apple store and picked it up there. The newest addition is the new dual core 3.0 Ghz Mac Pro and I went all out on this sucker. Got it equipped with 8GB's of DDR2 RAM, 2 Terabytes of HD space which is all 4 HD slots filled up. Quadro FX4500 Graphics card and I got a 2nd 30"Cinema display. Cant wait to hook them up at the same time, 60" of computer viewing madness. Dont even ask how much this computer cost me. I will say it was more expensive than my entire entertainment system combined, HDTV, HD-DVD Player, Bose Acoustimass 10 and Pioneer reciever included.

As for the old apples, they are littered all throughout the house. I have a dual 2.0 Ghz g5 that I have used as my main computer for the last year or so which is still in 100% working order. I have a 1.6 Ghz Core Duo Mac Mini hooked up to my main entertainment system. I also have a dual 1.0 Ghz G4 and a 350Mhz Blue and White G3 and they are also in 100% working order. I swear to god these things just last forever. I have never had a single instance of an Apple computer going down on me and I have been using them since the days of Apple II's. I almost wish they would break as then it would give me an excuse to toss one of them. As is I just cant sell my Apple's.

I also just got a 15 inch 2.16 ghz Core Duo Macbook Pro back in July. I dont usually use laptops but I am getting a digital back for my Toyo 4x5 Camera and need a Laptop for it so I got one. Dont have my digital back yet and have only used the compuetr to install the software I am going to be using. Besides that it has just been sitting there waiting. I get my digital back in October so ill have some fun when that finally arrives.

And last but not least, My girlfriend has the 20 Inch iMac set up in our bedroom. I have never used it tho. That one is for her.

All in all its definitly a Mac household as the only thing relating to Microsoft in this house is my Xbox and Xbox 360. Its not that I hate Windows or anything, I have worked on windows machines for many years without any serious problems. I just am a Mac person through and through and have never purchased anything but Apple since the day I started buying computers. As I said before I have not had a single incident with a Mac computer going down on me. The only incident that ever happened to me was a failed HD like 30 days after I purchased the computer and it was a Maxtor.

Its actually really nice to see Apple doing so well these days. They doubled thier market share in Laptops in less than 4 months upon the release of the Macbook Pro and the numbers are coninuing to go up and up. It really looks like Apple is in a position to take a good chunk of the market. Peopl are no longer hesitant to try a Mac now that it supports Windows applications.

Anyways by the look of your collection of Computers I would guess you also have been a Mac man for a long time and doesnt look like your gonna change any time soon. Ah the Mac!!

PS....

Also a longtime Mac user. Currently got a dual 2.3 GHz G5. Last one before they went to Intel.

I'm willing to guess around 8-9K. Worth every penny if you have the money

Current macs in my house:

Dual 2.0GHZ G5 (with 2.5GB Ram, 330GB HD, 20" Cinema Display next to the older 17" Studio Display)
20" 2.16GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo iMac (not much done here considering its so new. Just 1GB Ram, 250GB HD)
Dual 2.66GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo Power Mac (1GB Ram, 450GB HD, 23" Cinema Display)
17" iMac Flat Panel Display (280GB HD, 1GB Ram)
17" PowerPC PowerMac (With 512MB Ram, 80GB HD)

The greatest part is that 3-4 of my friends have converted over to Apple after a trip to the Apple Store

We also have some older BW G3's kicking around that we're recycling soon.

Anyhow, back on topic, It's rumored that CC is going to stop carrying HD-DVD so I may stop by their place and see what they have some titles for. Obviously I don't expect a deal as good as what you got man, but I can dream can't I?

LOL, i wonder why people who love Mac's have so many of them. Everyone I know who is a Mac user has at least 3 of them. Its actually pretty comical.

As for the Comp USA titles, I went back to try and get some more of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Good Night & Good Luck to sell on ebay but they were sold out. All they had left was Phantom of the Opera and 16 Blocks. I didnt see 16 Blocks when I was there the first time so I picked up that title as well for 13.99. . Not super cheap deals but still good deals none the less.
